Its happened to me a couple of times where the label has been removed, I just ask them to go and find whoever moved it, "they cant be far as it was there 5 mins ago when I picked it up" just stand your ground and let them do the talking. If they come out with any BS just tell them to look at the CCTV to find out who moved it

thanks for the reply. Does the fact that you scanned 20 phones before you buy one not also make them aware that you knew the price before you bought it?

Only if they see you doing it! (and they probably wont)

Even then they would have to prove the one you bought was one of the ones you scanned!

If you scan so many it's easy to forget which one cost which price

True, I only use the scanner for two or three items at a time because I always end up forgetting by the time you've trekked all the way across the shop to the only scanner thats working!
