I cant be bothered now lol, went all over but no luck. Seen the 10 % phones discount, but didnt buy no phone, there was 2 security guards patroling the isles aswell. Im sure they were following me around.
If people cant help people on these threads, then they should rather not say anything then say something which isnt any use to the person who needs help

My hubby has just had the Motorola L6 in both of our local stores,
CS admitted they are told to only offer the 10% back and hope the customer doesn't know about R&R - how bad is that???

Suggests they know the discount isnt coming off and are quite happy to leave the SELs up and hope no-one notices. And who says there is no deliberate intent on the part of Mr T. The more I hear the less I like.

HO are still supporting the store in my case ( Sony Ericsson k300i white SEL 44.97 Discount didnt come off. When queried a yellow SEL appeared suggesting original price was 57.97 and that in fact i had received the discount despite the fact that I had no way of knowing the original price was 57.97.) Any suggestions of what I should do next?

I tried for a phone with a white label last night but they produced a set of yellow labels on a sheet which showed the original proce as ten per cent more that the white label price and told me that the assistant had put the wrong label on, so beware the white price may be the right price! I got my money back and wasted about forty minutes waiting.

    Hiya,

Would it matter is the people behind CS started to recognise you? Also, does it matter is you get loads of things and take them all in one trip?

Also, if they know that you are looking for the miss priced stuff do they and can they be funny with you?

    Cheers

    J

This should be on the discussion board Mods.

The answer is yes and no.

Depends on the CS in question - their attitude - and your attitude.

If you take the Michael and try to R&R 20 Motorola L6s, 14 Toasters and £110 worth of steak in one go then you may have problems.

Slow and steady wins the race.

I - like others - have been R&Ring for a while now - despite the occasional times when Tesco start to get their act togther - they fail - so mis-prices and the Our Promise policy is going to be there for some time.

So pace yourself - go for the goods you want.

Try and put yourself in the CS shoes and ask "is this reasonable?".

    Good hunting,

    Duder

  • what is the best method to ensure you get a refund?

For example if I see a phone that scan through as overpriced and there is a label on the shelf and go to buy it and by the time it goes through a member of staff has removed the label where do I stand?

Should I remove the label (before they have chance to ) so I can produce it to CS when I ask for my refund?

Not a good idea as this shows them you were aware of the overcharge before paying!

Its happened to me a couple of times where the label has been removed, I just ask them to go and find whoever moved it, "they cant be far as it was there 5 mins ago when I picked it up" just stand your ground and let them do the talking. If they come out with any BS just tell them to look at the CCTV to find out who moved it ;)
