I ordered my shopping from tesco.com this week, I normally order from Sainsburys, but I thought the Felix £1.49 for 12 pouches great value so ordered 4 plus my normal weekly stuff. My shopping has just been delivered and they have charged me £2.24 for each one, hence £8.96 instead of £5.96. Rang them up as I was fuming! They would only refund the £3 difference and wouldn't let me speak to a manager, said they don't have any!!

The policy is different for online, they will refund the difference only. If you spoke to the customer services centre then they wouldn't have managers as such as its a call centre.

Once again tesco managment ABUSING their customers this is getting unbelievable now and maybe it is time for us all to start contacting TS R&R or not.

Abusing? Whoever mummymania spoke to offered the refund correctly, as per the policy for tesco.com.

ABUSING as in ripping them off by over charging.Did they refund her for her inconveniance and time spent on the phone too?
Don't they deliver from peoples local store? If they do as i believe they do then the R&R policy should be excatly the same as i am sure the fine from TS would be the same if they were contacted etc.

well...i'm angry too, coz i had the same experience the other day, but i've check online t&c, it is different...if the price is higher, they only refund the difference.

But how many people check their reciepts this way and how many miss mistakes? Onceagain tesco's is the winner.
People have to make a stand to this sort of abuse and contact TS EVERY time they are ripped off by this company.I don't even want to get into the smaller shops and suppliers that tesco has by the balls

anyone checked out the printers?, the LX2450 offer ended on the 1st, price £59, my local store only has a display model and an expired SEL, so I can't check.

Another printer offer expires on the 3rd

    PS

Tesco staff get paid Friday (so im told)

Anyone find any mispriced printers? :)

I was going to buy a Lexmark Z645 from Tesco for £25 but I'm versatile...... ;);)

    Bad experience today.

Bought 3 x Finest ready meals:
    Fishcakes - £3.69
    Steak Diane - £4.99
    Meatballs - £3.99

All yellow labels stated "SAVE £1.00.... Discount deducted at checkout"

No discount came off, except for the £1 for buying two meals (although these packs were unstickered).

Went to CS, provisions manager came down, and told me that the labels were open to debate, and the prices shown in fact included the discount. I asked how else one could interpret "Discount deducted at checkout" and he said that it was a mistake by their buyers and no-one else had come to CS to complain.

There was nothing anywhere to show what the "normal" price of these items should have been.

He refused to help any further, not even the £1 discount on each item. Offered a full refund, which I refused, and said I would take it up with HO tomorrow. Then he left.

Unfortunately for him, he placed the yellow SELs back in my bag with my shopping.

Tomorrow shall ring HO first thing and see what they say.

I'm right, aren't I? The SELS are unequivocal. They can't mean anything else other than an additional £1 will be deducted at checkout?

In any event, every single meal in the Finest cabinet had these SELs and presumably none of them works so far as the £1 discount is concerned.

So, if anyone has a more helpful CS than I encountered today, you should be in luck.

When you purchase products in a Tesco store your contract is with Tesco Stores Limited, and under their Ts & Cs.

When you order online to have your goods delivered to your door your contract is with Tesco.com, under their Ts & Cs.

Both companies are owned by Tesco PLC. Tesco.com does indeed use some of the services of Tesco Stores Limited but both are separate companies.

I'm not denying that. What i am saying it is still tesco what ever that is ripping people off and should start to be punished by fines to help them get their house in order. If i could never get another R&R because tesco stopped over charging everyone,i for one would be one happy bunnie knowing that the items i have already had from them, even with all the hassles has helped all other unfortunate people (Usually the old and frail) stopped getting ripped off
