Purchased an xbox360 core & the Godfather (GOTW) today and the £20 did not come off.

Couldn't believe it when I saw the combination of the poster offering £20 off, the console and the GOTW were all present.:D

CS didn't wanna know about a full refund so I'll call HO in the morning.

I do have a good reason for that one.. its a story i tell people to say and if 100's of people start using the same story then thy will catch on.. people have been pm'in me and ive changed the story slightly.. hasnt failed yet.. if all else fails then i give them the name an number of the guy who sorted mine...trouble is my chq hasnt arrived yet so if i give that number and name and he cacthes on he might not pay my 300 bucks.. as soon as my cash arrives then i'll shout itfrom the roof tops! haha

Ive had a letter of him and the chq will be here in the next few days!!

I have given the number out a few times and has worked straight away.. so dont worry folks you all will get a FULL refund.. be patient.

Maybe. So far all they have taken from me are details of the store, product and out-of-date promotion. They said they would investigate and come back to me if they need further info. Whilst Tesco may say in their defence for individual cases that R&R was implemented, this will not help them in the wider context that they are advertising dodgy promotions and ripping off thousands of others that do not get (or even ask for) R&R.

re - the discount when you buy phone (vodaphone/virgin) and e voucher not kicking in.

I purchased the above CS and manager refused r+r, offered £10 e voucher (phone was less than £50)..Refused offer.
Phoned HO, explained poster was up after expired date, and clearly stated "off handset".
Had phone call to collect FULL refund (both items from store).
No quibble no story - just facts.....job done.
Suggest you all try same - stick to facts rather than some elaborate secret method.
Fight the fight if your refused !!!!.
