My OH has just handed me 3 Tesco Clubcard vouchers total value £21. It says they are valid for 2 years and has a date on them.

Unfortunately the expiry was some months ago. I'm furious with him!

Is there anything that can be done to redeem them?

I am not sure how this works with deals, but When this happened to me, I just handed them over in store, and they were taken off my shopping.. mine were 8 months out of date.

No!! Don't use them at the till, they are worth 4 times as much in Deals!

catt, I would phone up the Clubcard Helpline (assuming they belong to you or OH) and explain you've just found them in a drawer or something. Ask if there is any way these unused vouchers (and any others you've lost - they can check at their end for unused vouchers) can be added back to your account, pretty please.

Others have posted before, that the points can be added back on if you ask.

I think the Clubcard Helpline number is on the back of your main clubcard, if not you can ask for it instore or have a look on the Clubacard part of their website under 'contact us'.

As coupon mad has pointed out, send them back to Tesco,(Signed Delivery is recommended) I have done this twice now and both times have had my points put back on my card. The letter i received back from Tesco states " Sorry we cant replace your out of date vouchers, but i have added the points back onto your next clubcard statement"

The address i sent them back to was:

    Tesco Clubcard Deals
    PO BOX 654
    CRAWLEY
    RH10 1RG

Just put a letter in with them stating that unfortunately the vouchers you went to use in Store whilst shopping had expired, and that you were told to send them in to Tesco Customer Services, so the points could be added back onto your clubcard account!

    Hope this helps

  • Hi

I found some at the back of one of my cupboards that were over a year out of date so i contacted customer services and they told me to send them back to them and they would just put the points to the vaule of the vouchers i sent back back onto my clubcard.

Hope the same happens to you.

I did this the other day by phone, you don't need to send the vouchers. The points reappeared in a day or two from the phone call. And it was £91 worth that I am saving for a big hol which had gone out of date over the two years. HTH

I had to ring them today. I had let £194.50 (£778.00) go out of date :o:o
Luckily they were still on the system and they are adding them to my current clubcard balance, phew!!!!!
