Expired Tesco vouchers

Rang myself today and said that I've got a load that I won't be able to use and can I exchange them for some other different one's.
The man said yes and that I was to send a cover note and they would issue whatever one's I wanted.
I'm going for goldsmiths!!
Use them for christmas gifts I think.
Just use the address you would if you send off via post

probably very daft question, but should I just chuck them? I found (whilst clearing out the kitchen cupboard) a stack of them + have some that have run out earlier this month (some are 3+ years old! I am such a slattern:rotfl: ) don't suppose there's a cat in hells chance of them working at the till is there?

thought I'd check before consigning them to the dustbin.

I don't think they'll work, I'm afraid.

I remember I once had an extra points voucher, and I tried using it before it was valid (it had a weird validity period and I received it before). Anyway, it didn't work, so I'm assuming those past their validity dates defnititely won't.

If you call or email tesco clubcard they will credit the unused vouchers back to your tesco clubcard account I have done this with some that were a couple of months expired i doubt that they will with the really old ones but if you dont ask you dont get good luck

Hiya Lisa, I think OP was referring to tesco specific vouchers which are for extra points or 50p off a product etc, these will not be accepted by the till when they are out of date.

However, if you do have money off vouchers which are not store specific but are out of date, they can be used at the tills within a reasonable period as the retailer usually has a timeframe of a couple of weeks to send the vouchers in for reimbursement.

I have used out of date money off vouchers which have expired by just a couple of days.

I have an expired Deals voucher (just a tenner voucher for bowling). Is there any way to swap this for a valid on or do I bin it?

ring tesco and ask them i had some clubcard point vouchers that had expired and they told me to send them back and they reissued them for me.
