    Hello :D

Been trying hard to sort out Christmas presents.

Nearly finished my niece off - all I have to do is wait for my Tesco vouchers which I doubled up in the voucher exchange thingy and will get her Sylvanian caravan when they come through (£40 for £20 vouchers) and I still have £16.50 of vouchers left. I already have the car to go with it (free from Amazon vouchers), a pig family (free from Amazon) and a Sylvanian bouncy castle (very hard to get so had to get one from eBay for £15).

I have got a Pinflair kit for my sister (free from Amazon) and am now trying to get another £10 to get the Toy Story 3 DVD for her and then I have to get her a top from Jane Norman (£30, unless I can find it on eBay for less beforehand).

My uncle wants a CD so also need to get £10 Amazon voucher for that.

I need to get my mum's DSi still (£99 from Amazon) so will be putting any left over Amazon vouchers towards that.

And then for everyone else I need around £40. That's not including my OH and his parents :(. Need to try and cut costs some how. I could try to cobble together a hamper for OH's parents using the £16.50 Tesco vouchers. I'm sure I could get together £20 worth of stuff to sell on eBay to get some money to buy M&S vouchers for my aunt and gran.

Will keep brainstorming this evening me thinks.

I know, we always have given largish gifts. I really like giving presents anyway and I always get loads back in return (more than I give).

Just gone through Tesco website and found enough to fill a hamper for OH's parents for less than £16.50. Will go out next week and get all of that. Just need to find something to put it in. Thinking of just wrapping a cardboard box in wrapping paper.

Also forgot that I have a £10 Leisure voucher. I don't really have anyone to give this to so I may sell it on eBay to put towards the M&S vouchers.

  • Just wanted to pop in and say I love the idea of this challenge. Might try something similar myself! Hope you manage to get through Christmas without needing to hammer the CCs (that's my aim for the next couple of months too) and can restart the challenge in Jan. Good luck!

    Morning everyone

It is grey but dry here today. I am looking after my niece for most of the day as my sister and BIL are looking round houses this morning and going to watch Pompey play this afternoon. My reward is a free lunch of fish and chips :D.

A day full of Peppa Pig looms!!!

    Morning

I sat here last night and read through my first diary. I was so motivated back then and actually made headway with clearing my debts. Since then it feels like I haven't paid much off (except my Barclaycard).

I need to get back that enthusiasm and motivation. I was thinking that I could clear one of my 50 £750 payments every month then not only will I knock the debts down really quickly but it will only take me just over 2 years to clear the debts.

I need to get all of my bills back on track in December and of course finish buying Christmas presents and then in January I will be clear to go. My OH is moving in at the end of this week but he won't be paying anything until January as I owe him some money.

So in January I will have £400 extra straight away and to pay my bills and £750 towards debts each month, I will only have to earn £1,150 a month which doesn't even include my DLA payments which I can use for everyday spending and my half of the food. Sounds like a great plan :D.

Anyway, must get moving as have a lot to do. Will post again later.

Got some really good news today. Anyone who follows me will know that I am a mad tennis fan. I have got tickets to the O2 on Thursday 25th November for the ATP World Tour Finals. Just found out that I will see Andy Murray play!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :j:j:j:beer:

My sister and I have been trying for years to get tickets to see Andy Murray play and the atmosphere of an indoor match is going to be electric. Absolutely can't wait :D.
