  • I have a hoodie on now and some thicker socks in my slippers, and now all cosy :) It's very windy outside when I just went out, so makes me realise it is quite warm inside!
  • My oil has been burning for hot water, and ive had the heating on once cause i really needed washing dried! But im still sleeping with my bedroom window open and during the day my windows and doors are open (ive started freaking out a bit when windows are closed) think my house is too stuffy at times.... sitting now with a blanket over my legs/feet happy enough!

Ive had my oil radiators on a couple of times and my halogen heater is starting to make an appearance but I wont put on my storage heater until maybe mid October/early November. My little flat gets quite draughty though so it may even be earlier than that!
Im looking forward to swapping my summer duvet (4tog) for my winter one (13.5tog) – that normally happens mid October! At the minute its still too warm for my winter one so I have a blanket on top of my summer one.

OH reckons he wont need the winter duvet as I give off enough heat while Im asleep to heat a mansion!!!
  • Haven't felt the slightest need yet. Even though very blustery here not that cold.

Would hope to get some way into October before it goes on, although others in house would rather do t shirts and shorts with heating on, rather than something a little cosier!
  • on and off when the clocks change, so no!

  • I have my heating - single oil filled radiator on. DD has a chest infection so i thought it prudent not to freeze her;)

    YES

Mine has been on and off again a few times since the middle of Aug (not for long though, just to take the chill off) it's on atm because there is a shocking cold wind blowing about outside

I hate being chilly, you would think I would be used to it living in Scotland

Same here! South Lanarkshire was freezing last night.....!!

North Lanarkshire here, had heating on last 2 nights and fire on a couple of times during the day but me and mum have a condition that means we don't heat up like normal folk so we did not bad this year.
