NTL/Virgin Mobile. £10=300mins+300texts per month

I spoke to a girl in Virgin Mobile sales today who stated that the 300mins+300texts for £10/month deal was ending on Monday and was to be replaced by 100mins+100texts for £10.

If you want the current deal then sign up this week.
A slightly different way to get the deal is to register any Virgin PAYG sim then call the sales team and say you want to convert it to pay monthly on the existing deal. They didn't ask if I was a Virgin Media customer, just signed me up on the deal.

thanks Knuckledragger, after reading your post on the 30th may, i got 2 £10 deals for 300min/300text. me and the wife are both on payg with virgin, just phoned up the sales team and were put on pay monthly, didn't even ask if we wereVirgin Media customers, which were not!! cheers. :beer:

or 100min &100 text and a free phone with 12 months contract (only with sim &phone ,not with sim only)

I've been looking to replace my existing deal (with Fresh Mobile) with something cheaper. Having done an analysis on my current usage, I stumbled across this deal on the Virgin Media site. Phoned up Wednesday am and signed up for Sim only (got a Nokia 6230 which I'm happy with). Sim arrived in post Thursday am. Easy to set up and so far I'm very impressed with customer service and delivery. Decided against moving number from old provider so have taken new number instead.
So far so good!

I've had this deal 300 mins and texts for a few months and it's great. I am using my mobile for daytime calls so saving on landline bill. I'm not bothered about a trendy new mobile either so I have my kids cast offs!

I am on the £10 month sim only 300min deal at the moment but my phone has broken. Can I transfer to the 100min deal? (I never use more than 100 anyway) and does anyone know what phone model is currently included?

Do you really want to commit yourself to a 12 month contract,where as at the moment you have £10 bolt on that can be stopped straight away. Bearing in mind you can pick up a cheapo phone for as little as £10 from the Virgin Site.
