free cruise for first 250 people [CLOSED]

DFDS are nearly always late irrespective of the weather.

I dunno why they don't reschedule their timetable to allow longer in Newcastle so they can leave on time.

When they were 1 hrs late in arriving in Nov, they kept us waiting in the departure lounge for 3hrs, and when we eventually got on board the place was still dirty and cabins uncleaned, what the heck were they doing for those 3hrs I wanna know?

Seems the staff on board wanted their 2hrs turn around break irrespective of being behind schedule.

Those were probably the ones under the leaking blocked toilets that I saw when I was onboard.......glad to see they didn't waste them!

Before I make a final decision on whether to go on this trip in February,does anyone else who has been have any comments about it.

The cruise ship left dead on time,and,to me it looked the the liner was fresh out of the shipyard,everything clean and sparkling.
The food onboard was hot,fresh and plentiful and such low prices for such large portions.
The crew could not do enough for us and our every whim was catered for.
The weather was crisp and sunny and the ocean was as flat as a millpond,so we arrived early at our destination and the captain gave us all a free packed lunch consisting of roast chicken,mince pies and a half bottle of champagne each........
Our cabin/suite was quite large enough for 8 and the beds were the most confortable we had ever slept in,the only thing being the 42 inch plasma tv quite overpowered the room as it was on the ceiling and showed quite raunchy late night films.
We have already booked again,and cancelled our holiday to mustique so as to give us plenty of free time on this cruise.
I am sure this is what you wanted to hear,so who am i to dissapoint you.
Perhaps the previous 18 pages of bad reports of this trip were just a figment of the other posters imagination.........................

Oh,one more thing..........every child on board was given a gift of a Nintendo Wii with a bumper pack of extra games absolutely free of charge as a way of promoting next year's cruising itinery...............

And why on earth would they do that when this year is nearly over.

Surely if it was to promote their itinery it would have made more sense to give them away next year to promote the 2007 itinery- we're going in February with two kids and they would have loved to get a Wii each.

can anyone out there give us an update on their recent trips as I know there were other people going in November and December any info would be greatly appreciated thanks

just heard on north east news that the bergen cruise is stuck in bergen unable to make return crossing due to bad conditions,so an extended break for anyone on it and a delayed or cancelled break anyone goin tomorrow
