I went back to a different branch today told them what had happened and they said that i am not the only one who has complained about the shoes he said they where faulty but told me to take it up with nike.
So i did just that went to a nike store who kindly confirmed that the shoes are faulty.
Went back to the original store and they sent the shoes back to head office to test them.
I am very angry. The manager said she is sure that head office will agree with her choice to not exchange or refund the shoes.
So i am documenting everything and if they still refuse to exchange then i will go up to the high court next week and sue. I am really sick of shops treating customers that way
i will hit them for costs and a public appology. If i win in court sports direct will have to foot the court costs

So your going to drive to the Royal courts of justice in London over a pair of shoes?
You need to make a claim through money claim online which will be held at a county court.
You also need to write a letter before action first too.Back by no demand whatsoever.0 -

Some shops and some customers!
I doubt they will let it get that far tbh.The Googlewhacker referance is to Dave Gorman and not to my opinion of the search engine!
If I give you advice it is only a view and always always take professional advice before acting!!!

Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement. Yet, as we scoff at our groping ancestors, so our descendants will surely scoff at us.

Sports Direct/Sports Soccer, have in my personal experience been the stores whereby customer service just doesn't exist, the sales people ignore you and seem to get annoyed if you have the temerity to ask what size the shoes are in...0

Just for reference, if the OP openly recorded the person (using a mobile phone) the person being recorded would have been aware of the situation, and therefore perfectly at liberty to walk away.
If the recording had been made using covert equipment without the person's knowledge, then and only then would it be classed as a breach of her privacy and subject to any form of legal challenge. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
