At a guess, how many jars of sweets would you think will do for 150 people??Got Married on 28th May 2011 :j0

I was thinking whenever i get pick and mix I'm always surprised at how much it costs, you don't get many sweets for your 100g. Therefore I was thinking that 200g ish per person sounds reasonable, you don't want to have millions left but then again you don't want everything totally gone. SO for 150 people I would guesstimate 150 X 200g = 30 kg of sweets.
Agghh that sounds a lot. Okay maybe 100g per person , that would be 15kg. Jings thats a lot of sweets.0 -
never mind

Giggle/Hani85 = they are the scoops that i got as well, bargain arent they!!
Lynnexxxo - we had about 120 people, all the sweets that we had in the jars in those photos got eaten, we had prob 5 bags of the value type foam sweets wine gums etc left... did buy 10 in total make sure we had enough though!!
got nearly all the sweets for the theme off ebay mainly. The gold coins were on offer after xmas which had a good date on them - def advise looking at easter sweets if anything you could use with a good date on it!!
Our £1land had boxes of chewits sweets like you can get from cash carry in there recently: fizzy cola bottles, sour stars, gummy cakes.
So you should keep eye out if you have a store near you to grab couple packs perhaps!
The fizzy coke bottles filled one of the large kiln jars with some left over to top it up after!!:heart2:Married my Prince Charming on 15th April 2011 - perfect day!
Our little princess born 8th June - she is amazing!! :grinheart

What ssweet have you got sammy_wheeler, as our colour scheme is also purple and silver and can't decide whether to go with silver and purple sweets or a retro sweets theme! Am edgying towards retro sweets so can have lots of different colours0

we are cadburys purple too but i would rather have a big mix of sweets rather than stick to the colour scheme, we are having a bit of everything and the table decoration will hopefully bring it back to the scheme0
