here are a few pics of the sweets we had -
we got the majority of vases from Ikea and then picked up other bits in £1land - we had disney themed link with the sweets so brought certain amount to match films and then brought other bags of sweets from asda etc as bulks. Got luggage tags from tesco and wrote the names of the films on each and tied it to the jars. We wrapped boxes in silver paper so we had different levels for the jars as well.
The bags were from ebay as well as the scoops and the fairy star wands we had on the table doubled as some 'scoops' too.
it was def a good talking point and everyone was enjoying going to fill a bag of sweets!:heart2:Married my Prince Charming on 15th April 2011 - perfect day!

Hi we are not getting married till March 2013 but we've already decided we want a candy buffet! Our colours are chocolate and cream but we are not going to limit ourselves to sweets that are in our colours. We think we are going to do a childhood favourites for our sweets. Im doing it on a budget too so will be trying to find as many bargains as possible, this is the best place to do it!Ideas, help and advice always welcome, judgements and assumptions are not!!:happyhearMarrying my Mr Perfect 20130

Thanks hani85, those scoops are a bargain0

How big are the scoops hani? I keep finding 5oz metal scoops but that is huge and so it could easily clear out a bowl on its own!Getting married Wednesday 24th August 2011!
2010 wins: approx £2198
2011 wins value so far: approx £650

I've just bought some of those scoops, totally cheapest I've seen. Asda is selling off the mini eggs for 25p for the 100g bag. Everyone loves mini eggs even if its not easter its still chocolate!0
