I can see your photos i think its cause im not a friend of yours but thanks for trying :)

    Fixed it now I think!
Looks a bit of a mess on my dining table but you get the idea- went for our favourite sweets rather than colour coordinated ones (mainly cause we didn't have a colour scheme!) They went down really well (wedding was just last weekend)
Will post some as they were in the venue when I get the official shots back x

That didn't occur to me either but it made life so much easier on the day just to transport them to the hotel and not have to worry about them (plus with clingfilm I was less tempted to sneak a few out!)

If anyone is struggling for jars still I have posted on the MSE weddings board on facebook as I have 20 spares!

I brought mine wholesale but they came in packs of 20 so have 10 of each style, the more vintage retro look and the proper sweetie style jars. Both looked fabulous once I put the vintage style tags on :-)

    Hey Jidi,

How much do you want to sell the vintage jars for? Im doing an Alice in Wonderland themes candy buffet and have some large jards already but those little vintage ones are gorgeous x

OMG Bb4U they are wonderful!!! i love the idea of having things like this.

    So far ive had trouble thinking of sweets to match my theme but im thinking;
    Chocolate mice
    foamy mushrooms
jelly bugs (not sure if you can just get caterpillars?)
big swirly lollies (just because theyre so colourful)

    and then im stuck haha

im also doing a teabag pick and mix on the candy table which seems a little odd but im going to use fruit tea bags so that the tea comes out in bright colours.... i bet my family still ask for a normal cuppa instead haha

Hi, yep I still have both sets of jars available hun, I've not got a price in mind really I paid £49 for the vintage pop top ones. They look fab with the 'eat me' tags on I'm trying to find a pic of the tags I used for you they were brilliant! x

    Hi
These are great ideas. My sister had a vase of sweets as part of the centre piece on all of her tables, worked great with all the kids. She put everything in them from lollipops, to those sweet bracelets you get, cola bottles, dolly mixtures etc made it a mixture of colour.

She got the vases from IKEA for only a few pounds each, everyone really enjoyed them.
