the other day i was driving along and someone on a phone stepped out, without warning, in front of me.
i managed to stop in time and i hooted my horn to warn them.

And the satisfaction of knowing that your driving was good enough to successfully avoid an accident, not injuring someone (deserving or otherwise), not damaging your car, etc, etc., etc.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.
