..and to cross behind the bus. I learned that as a child. You'd be daft to get in the way of the bus wanting to drive forwards, even if you did look for other traffic.Shoshannah wrote: »Good advice. Also good advice not to cross roads without looking.0 -
Labelling a car a killing machine is daft. Virtually everything has the potential to kill.

As far As I can see, from the facts presented here, the only person that was at fault was the deceased. Harsh as it may seem, they died as a result of their own stupidity.0 -
I agree with this especially when the accident involve adult. Unfortunately, here in the UK there are still too many youngster did not aware about this. Failure of education system

I find it interesting that you cite failure of education system in your post. I would be more inclined to lay the blame at the door of the parents rather then the education system.0 -

Both equally rubbish IMO.
Momentary lapse of concentration. Happens millions of times a day to millions of people all over the world.
Some have tragic endings, most dont.0 -

The cowardly gobshoite hothothot? Is it really?

Yes I totally agree... I was just trying to illustrate how odd the original comment was. How you can blame the education system baffled me. In any case... the poster was making reference to the young not being taught to cross the road correctly. How he can state that this is a failure in the education system and not parenting I find interesting.0 -
