also want to be nosey - how did he propose???? xx
Thanks Kel, we got engaged Sat (18th).
Lovely proposal, we were staying in our fav cottage in snowdonia and we normally get dressed up and have a nice meal in on one of our evenings (which happened to be sat)....so I didn't think anything of it....then over dinner he said he had another early christmas present for me (he'd given me some xmas pj's on Thurs eve so I could enjoy them over the xmas period) to which I honestly thought was a diamond necklace as have been asking for one over past couple of months...but then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
He did say he was contemplating doing it out on walk but was worried we'd lose the ring in the excitement as the snow was up to our knees!!!! :rotfl:
It was perfect, visiting our fav place, staying in our fav cottage and eating our fav meal....I couldn't have asked for more.
Needless to say I am a very happy girl! How are your wedding plans coming along? House move?

The house move has been great.. So much work to get it done in time. But all the rooms are how we want them - we have a lovely feature wallpaper wall with big red flowers! I love it. Just need new furniture to fill it!!! We still need to change all the doors but that will be done in the new year! We still need to change all the doors but that will be done in the new year!

Last post from me before Christmas arrives :j Can't beleive it's here, although it came early for me really
Have been doing lots of thinking and planning for financial goals and that of wedding too.... have diaries at the ready and will update my total savings and debt balance come new year after the festivities have ended.
Obviously goals financially are slightly different as have a wedding to factor in now but i'll still get there and as I said before would like to start married life with as little debt as possible and most def less than 20k so strict times ahead eh. It can be done, it will be done!
 Have a fab Christmas everyone,
 Choc xx0
