  • Hi

My first post here. I have been looking around for the best deals as my contract with O2 is ending in October so called O2 yesterday for an upgrade, however they couldn't offer anything special ( £35 on 18 month galaxy s ) so decided to shop around on the net and have ordered the phone with e2save which arrives tomorrow.

Samsung Galaxy s (BRAND NEW) 24 mth
    300min unlimited 300 txt 500mb data
on Orange Dolphin 25 with 6 mth Free (Cashback).
and £46 cash back via Quidco.

I make that £16.83 effective cost monthly .

This will be my fourth contract with them so very confident of their service.

is that enough data though? it gets expensive after 500mb.

David in terms of insurance I pay £2 a month on home insurance for £2500 personal belongings cover, including up to £500 smart phone cover. (sainsburys insurance)
  • thanks sounds like you know your stuff all i have to do now is look at my outgoings to afford it

I guess for me it's fine as I have broadband at home so will use wifi although I admit 500mb may be too little for other.

Not too sure about Orange network though I'm hoping someone on here could tell me what their service is like as with O2 it was good however their prices couldn't match up with Orange.:)

Orange are mostly fine. Much of a muchness really. They also offered me a terrible deal despite being desperate to keep me when I switched to T-Mobile.
  • thanks taken the plunge may be back when it arives with questions unless there is a good dedicated site free to use for information thanks to everyone for their patience and assistance ...

hi been to town phone 4 u and the sales bloke said all phones bought from online including this seller are all seconhand and their specialist,in store computer would save me money. oh and best deal vodaphone 32.50 24 months, and battery life is only 4 hrs:(

Highlighted the relevant word....everything else he said was BS. Why would he BS you? Well, it all comes back down to that word I've highlighted. The man was talking out of his posterior.
