Unlimited internet (not actually unlimited as it's limited to 1gb per month).

They should not be allowed to advertise this as it's misdescriptions.

rung tmobile and asked about the speed restriction and they said I only have the "internet booster" which is only 1gb allowance

i'd need the "internet plus booster" which is £5 a month extra to get the 3gb allowance, and on this one i'd get faster speeds too hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

looked here and I think they may be pulling my leg

afaik, you should get the faster speeds by default, they are talking rubbish.

But where did you read it would have a 3GB download allowance in the first place? Just curious.

Anyone else gone for this on T-Mobile, it would be good to see others speed tests to help each other out (i haven't gone for this yet)

i wouldn't mind faster speeds just for the benchmark and bragging rights LOL be great to show people wireless tether and get close to what many get on broadband - but in reality the 0.28 download is very liveable and more than fast enough for my internet browsing. (although more is always better :D)

What is 56k dialup in gb rating out of interest?

    just found this on t+c's

Pay monthly plans which include internet on your phone on an Android phoneYou'll get internet on your phone Plus included if you join us on a pay monthly plan with an Android phone in a T-Mobile store, over the phone or via our website, t-mobile.co.uk. You'll need internet coverage, check it at t-mobile.co.uk/streetcheck. Remember that you can only use your internet on your phone Plus Booster in the UK and you can't use your phone as a modem or use Internet on your phone Plus for peer to peer file sharing, or making internet phone calls. *Internet on your phone Plus comes with a fair use policy of 3GB a month. We'll monitor how much you send and receive each calendar month so that we can protect our network for all our internet on your customers. If you use more than your fair use policy amount, we won't charge you any more, but we may restrict how you can use your plan, depending on how often you go over your amount and by how much. As your phone is always connected to the internet, if you remove your internet on your phone Plus Booster from your account you'll automatically be charged up to £1 every day. That £1 a day rate has its own fair use policy and other legal stuff, which you can see here: t-mobile.co.uk/services/uk/fairuse/#fup5.
  • hi interested in this phone but on 02 is there a better deal

If you purchase an android T-mobile contract from T-mobile direct, you get 3gb and uncapped speed.

If you purchase android T-mobile contract from a third party (Carphone Warehouse, Mobiles.co.uk, etc etc) you get 1gb and a capped speed

we if that's true, it's not a good deal after all. Are you sure? It's about time they are more open and detailed with what you get, it's getting real messy choosing a tariff these days...

Well tmob quoted me £5 for the "plus" which would give 3gb and unlimited.

Bringing it to £30 a month, still far cheaper than tmobile website itself, and O2 from what i've seen.

    Topcash back £50 = -£50
    8 months half price line rental £12.50 = £100
    16 months at standard line rental £25 = £400
    24 months "plus" internet £5 = £120

    = £23.75 a month

Show me the better deal on O2 :T

I may try the £5 "plus" booster for 1 month and see if it makes any difference to speedtest :D but i'm pretty impressed with the default speed so it might be money down the swanny :rotfl:

Although if I do decide to use this forever as my permanent wireless tether £5 extra certainly sounds more rosy than paying Virgin £20 line rental and internet if it returns broadband speeds.
  • Has anyone get definite confirmation from mobiles.co.uk about this? Is there anywhere whcih speficies 1Gb and "capped" and if so, what is "capped"? Without this info, no-one can make a basic decision over which deal is better.

If they are advertising Web 600 with "Unlimited web browsing", surely they should have a link showing you can only go down B Roads rather than the Motorways?

    I might cancel...

    Hi David,

What is the O2 deal? Is it direct with them or through a third party?

I was with O2 and their loyal member deal couldn't match, nor new customer deal - unless they've brought out a new tarif in last 2 weeks.
