  • This is just what i'm looking for, especially with tethering ability, i never knew anything like that existed. Like the other poster, i can't see any mention of free unlimited internet? There's no internet included with the offer on mobiles. co.uk
My contract has ended with orange so i'll see if they can match the offer when i phone for my pac code.

it is partly hidden. When you go to the Galaxy S page, click the t-mobile tab, then underneath, click "24 month". It will show itself then as Web 600 (24 months), 8th one down :)

i spent hours looking for this kind of deal, and O2 who have every year price matched and offered loyalty couldn't come close.

I'm not sure why the Web 600 is so hard to find on mobiles.co.uk, i'd say its the best tarif there! probably makes them the lowest gross profit hence the reason its hidden so well:money:

I'm v v impressed with the Galaxy, my brothers got an Iphone4 which is heavier, not as intuitive and just doesn't feel as complete (battery life is not far off double what he gets i've found on galaxy too :) )

The tethering even allows up to 3 devices to share your Access Point the phone creates, and comes built in the phone as standard - no Rooting the software, installing tethering apps etc!

you can also tether with the usb cable included and the Samsung KIES software if you want to tether and charge the phone via usb at same time :T

also i've absolutely abused the internet on phone since i received it and used the tethering last night for 4 hours.

Called tmobile to do my number transfer today and PAC code etc, and i've only used 0.08gb of my allowance. (unlimited although they have a fair use policy of 3gb per month, which if you exceed they send you a text and slow your speed down till next month)

based on current usage i'll come no where near this :D
  • Great deal. Well found! Have just gone for it too.

However, I am not seeing anything in topcashback showing (£50 for a new contract). It did say that it will appear as £0.01 at first until it is validated. How quickly does it normally appear in your topcashback account? I seem to remember previous transactions almost being instant?

    Thanks,
    Smithy

You need to call T Mobile and ask them to lift the speed restrictions on your line - explain you have an android phone, thus should not be throttled. Do a speedtest on your phone first though, to confirm you're being throttled.

rung tmobile and asked about the speed restriction and they said I only have the "internet booster" which is only 1gb allowance

i'd need the "internet plus booster" which is £5 a month extra to get the 3gb allowance, and on this one i'd get faster speeds too hmmmmmmmmmmmmm

looked here and I think they may be pulling my leg
