hi all. well i want to lose about 4stone in all. but just as much as possible before october. i joined weightwatchers on wednesday and found i was so hungry yesterday. so my tip for weightloss when your hungry have sex! lol made me go to sleep less hungry lol. sorry dont mean to be rude i just felt like dying yesterday with hunger.

good luck everyone. hope you reach your goals soon
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed
  • Hi, I know you have started weightwatchers now but have you ever tried slimming world?...I'm NEVER hungry on there as u are allowed unlimited FREE food.
On a green day you have unlimited amounts of fruit/veg/potatoes/rice/pasta and on a red day unlimited amounts of fruit/veg/meat (with no fat on) plus you have healthy options to choose from to and Sins. I found it hard to get my head around at first but it really does work..I've lost nearly two stone now.
So if you find yourself hungry on WW you could try slimming world....ummm but then your other half might miss out on a few extra uuummm curricular activities ;)

    Good luck with your weightloss

I won't be joining you myself guys but wanted to say good luck! :D

When I lost a stone last year I used a site called http://www.weightlossresources.co.uk/ The forums on there and the calorie counter was great, I was never hungry like I was when on WW!

    Good luck!

    Hey Bangra

How do I plan to do it?

Well I have joined Weight Watchers as I really like their approach to weightloss. I think they deal with the areas that are crucial for successful weightloss i.e. eating wisely, doing exercise, and also having a positive mental attitude.

I am a very goal orientated person so this approach really works for me.

I do think Weight Watchers has its faults though. The packaged food that they produce is a con, i.e. other similar products which are not entitled a diet food often have less fat etc!

Although yes I do feel hungry at the moment I do not have a problem with that as I know these feelings will subside once I am a few weeks into the diet.

Planning ahead is crucial as well. I was at work last week and was telling a colleague how I was planning to make a batch cook lasagne for the coming week. They were incredulous that I was thinking ahead!

I also make sure I have 0 point (a Weight Watchers term) soups in the fridge and freezer at home and at work so that I can stave off the 4pm or just before your main meal lulls.

I will also be swimming hopefully about twice a week and cycling to work.

    Anyway that's enough from me!

    How is everyone doing?

Oh my weigh-in at Weight Watchers on Wednesday was a shock...10st 5.5lbs. I put on half a stone over Christmas - Yikes! Oh well! Onwards and upwards!

    0 point soups?

Yes - so for lunch today I had two portions of homemade 0 point spicy aubergine soup - yum! Which means I have points for when I go out tonight - result!
