Hassling For Feedback

I leave feedback as soon as I have received the item. If I sell anything I always pop a thank you note in and ask if they would kindly leave feedback so I know the item has arrived safely and they are happy with their purchase.
To me it is just good manners to leave feedback when items have been received and doesn't cost anything apart from a couple of minutes of your time. I fail to see why you need to wait before leaving it and leave it as and when you want to?
At the moment I have four items on my feedback where I have left feedback as a buyer but the seller hasn't left anything. These were purchased three months ago and as always I paid immediately for the items. So to me not leaving feedback I count as ignorance.0 -
Luckily I use ebay to make money or to buy things I want, not for feedback. So I have no hard and fast rules about when or if I leave any.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Feedback is optional if you want a pat on the back everytime you buy something maybe ebay isn't the best place for you.
As Soolin I sell for money not feedback
I'm sure some ebayers love their feedback more than their kids.

You really don't get out much do you. You could have spent the time you devoted to whining about it on this site providing the poor guy with feedback
I go out a lot that's why I haven't had time to leave feedback - I currently have about 15 items to leave feedback for and when I can be bothered I will do it.
I also have a selling account and have had a few buyers not leave feedback, however I don't care and am not going to email them every 2 days to ask for feedback.
Him hassling me every 2 days is not going to make me give him feedback. My daughters are my world0 -
That might explain where you are going wrong. There is no harm at all in a polite emails aying item has been despatched as that way buyer has some idea when to expect it. However it is not encouraged and is considered bad form to email yet again asking if item has arrived.
Send the items, then leave it. That's all you need to do.
i always assumed that when i marked an item as dispatched in my account the buyer was informed.WWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0 -

I don't ask for a pat on the back when I sell but I would like to know the item has arrived safely. The proof of posting slips can then be thrown away. I don't sell very often hence that is probably the reason why I am more polite to sellers and leave them feedback when they ask therefore I think of it differently to you.0 -

You shouldn't throw your proof of postage away when the item has been delivered. If you get a charge back against you and no proof of postage you will lose.0 -
