Preparing for winter II

i was wondering, does anyone know if primark are doing those all in one fleece pj's in bigger sizes again this year? you know the footless ones that zip up the front from inner thigh to neck?
we picked up one from a charity shop for £2 and my daughter loves it, been wearing it every night! it's a size 13 years and it has enough room for this year, i'm hoping to find at least two more from primark directly, also wondering if they go larger than 13 years as i'd prefer to buy them a size larger so she can at least wear them at the beginning of autumn next year too0 -
Hi Kathy i love the idea of fleece lined trousers they sound so snuggly. My mum moved to USA a while back and has sent some of these over before for the kids but i thought they were just for the little ones not us grown ups. Thanks for sharing your winter bits with us
I think we have them over here as well, I have a pair of Craghoppers I use to do the horses in wet weather, I think that brand also do winter fleece lined versions.

Yep
They sure do - saw them in our local Primarni last week0 -
Just been looking for warm bedding and saw the tesco website has velvet bed throws from £40 to £10. They look quite thick.

Hi
I was in the huge Primark at Coventry the other day, their childrens sizes only go up to age 13, my DD is 11 and can't fit in that age size [she's not big, Primark are small sizes] I did notice that in the ladies section they had the all in one PJ's in a fleece material - may be she could fit into a size 8 or 10 as my DD does

Rainy, which ones did you go for? I was in Dunelm a couple of days ago and there were 2 kinds (I think one was around £17 and one £11) but couldn't decide. I did get a lovely set from John Lewis the other day (£18) which have come up really well once washed but could really do with a 2nd set for changes (hate using the TD).I think my confusion here may stem from a US law that says that children's pajamas (yes we spell it different here) must be made of flame retardant materials-- so they cannot be made from flannel (flanelette).
It's funny when I'm watching a show and some word comes out which sounds really odd (to me anyway) and I then think how the word's spent and realise that most of the time, it's us Brits who say things "oddly".

I'd still be tempted to put the fleeces up if you can. I've got roller blinds in my bathrooms (tiny windows) and you can feel the draft round the edges. (I'm a bit worried about sealing them up too much more tho' in case it gets really damp in there).Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

broodylass wrote: »And why does one say not to tumble dry anyone...they're both 100% cotton!?
They might shrink if you tumble dry them. I know my flannelette bedding shrank a bit, so now it's a bit of a struggle getting the bottom sheet to stretch to the corners!
I've also had cotton pyjamas which fitted perfectly the first time I wore them, then after washing and tumble drying (even though the label said I could) they shrank horribly. The trousers ended up so tight they were uncomfortable to wear, and the top shrank so much that it [STRIKE]barely covered my[/STRIKE] didn't reach my belly button any more. These were M&S ones too.
