Would that be the opposite to a hot flush?:DThe beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.

Please and Thank You are the magic words;)0 -
Do what our Grannies did Mardatha tie yourself up in brown paper under your thermal vest unitl the spring time - no-one would know if you had a bath or not! There was something to be said for the old tin bath in front of the coal fire - it would be bliss (I think!!!)
Just checked Netweather too, and not taking into effect the wind chill it is to be down to minus 11 here too, at the moment it is minus 8!!!! Think this is going to be a long cold winter, Thank goodness I have done some preparation !!!!Every days a School day!0 -

It's been 0c and snowing all day here.
I've made makeshift curtains for the kitchen.I've got well-fitting shutters, but have never got round to putting up curtains. For now, there's a big towel hanging up!
I've put three extra blankets on the bed, which will hopefully keep me toasty warm.It might just be difficult turning, due to their weight, plus the weight of the double duvet.0
