Preparing for winter II

Nooly I hate handbags as well, I used to leave on buses and in pubs so I just gave up and got coats with pockets!
Its cold here, white frost when I got up, but not as bad as yesterday, yesterday was BALTIC. Esp in my kitchen- I had to pinch the RV's big woolly cardi (that he never wears cos he thinks its not macho) to cook in.
I am wondering where Red Doe is, she is MIA. Maybe internet connection gave out..0 -

Good to know I am not alone in my non-handbag-lovingness.I often bring a small rucksack with me instead, or else a bag that crosses over me like you say Confuzzled. That way it's harder to lose lol.
Trying to spend less time on MSE so I can get more done ... it's not going great so far!
Sorry if I don't reply to posts - I'm having MAJOR trouble keeping up these days!

I remember when driving from the north to Cornwall about 8 years ago I bought a can of Nescafe coffee that heated automatically when you opened it. Yes I know it sounds way 'out there' but I really did buy it, I did't dream it!
I've not seen them since. Does anybody have any clue what I'm talking about or if they are still on the market. Also is there anything similar on the market to put in the car for emergencies and 'stuckages'.Save £1000 in a year... £19.28/£1000Miche0 -

Still haven't finished my crochet hexagon blanket - maybe it will be ready for next winter!!!
Have finished the main body of the jumper I'm knitting but I've discovered I hate knitting sleeves! Aaaargh I've only done half of one sleeveMust try harder
Washing is just not drying outside in this cold weather so I need to buy some radiator airers this week
Also need some new winter tights
Our new house is actually quite toasty, I think it's the 2ft thick stone walls! V gd0
