    I hope anybody making money at car boot sales are declaring the income for tax purposes.

    This is from all the way back on page two, but PLEASE tell me you are joking. For goodness's sake - do you think teenage babysitters, paper round-ers, and ebay-ers declare their income? Honestly... :rolleyes:

    I don't think there's a problem with selling your stuff off on an occasional basis, it's when it becomes a business with regular weekly buying/selling it should be declared. :confused: With kids they are able to earn, while in school they can't work over 24 hours per week if you receive Child Benefit for them though (unless that has changed recently). (And I think there are exceptions.)
