I dont really understand why a good deal is only for people on these threads and not the rest of the world? Thats the way the cookie crumbles, those on these forums get in there first before stores become wise or the deals get sold out. Dont be greedy and move on.
Its not greed at all. Imagine a great offer limited to 1000 people. If you put it on here many of those who take the time to post and who are keen bargain hunters will benefit. Send it to 4-5 million people and they won't. Yes 1000 will still benefit but how many of those actually 'give' anything by posting or contributing observations or finds? Probably none. So those you want to benefit, who take part and contribute miss out. Its not rocket science is it?
The one good thing yes is people here do get first crack at it.... but some here are leading busy lives and limited chances to get there before Martin tells the world.
Imagine a thing that Tesco do which a limited number of people take advantage of, coupons. They can live with the turnover, on here it is discussed, all quite low key. This goes on for a long time. Queue Martin who emails several million people. Thousands start to go for it, coupons go through the roof and they stop it. Those who did it for years now lose out. Its just not sustainable to tell the world when things are low key.0 -
Well I bought 6 bags of After Eight Mints at 1p each. :j
There were 12 bags there but thought I would leave some for someone else (and i am on a diet!) :rotfl:£4000 in 2011 - £48.88/£40000
