Thank you so much i am now the proud owner of 3 umbrella all different colours and they all had a Red disc lable on them so i tried them all and got them for 1p each and 2 packs of Bum Tum Tights not black i got natural and again all for a penny!! thanks oh they did question it at the till but the manager said no its fine let them fo through for a penny!!!

Whilst you are all helping each other with posting these things, Martin and/or the MSE site then uses the info you have provided to spoil it for you. In effect MSE beats you with the stick you have provided. Not nice at all. Just one of the many reasons I rarely use MSE these days.

I guess instead of sulking, you could just accept that you have to pay the correct price for things like 99% of everyone else has to...

The reason i dislike MSE sometimes is because of people like you. It's juts my opinion, but i don't think people have the right to complain about not getting something for 1p which should cost hundreds of % more...

Under Freedom of Info Act I think you can ask for a copy of all their cctv films - so you will have video evidence of their crimes.

Bet they will claim the cameras weren't working that day, or they have deleted that days tape:cool:

Wonder if some poor soul with a 'normal' shopping list has been followed, accosted or threatened in the last few days?

My friend works at one of our local Tescos and she told me that after things have been reduced and not sold they are dumped! This includes school uniforms etc. They are not given to charity and the staff are not allowed to have them. Anyone caught taking them out of the bins will be sacked for theft.

So what the heck does it matter if they are sold for 1p. It saves them paying for the trade waste surely.

just visited the carmarthen store and managed to get 6 pairs of stig socks. cant understand why some people are miffed at mse sharing this info would have thought the reason this thread was started was to spread the knowledge especially as most people have probably used this site for the same thing all be it a different bargain/ shop. it should be celebrated that the customer can win and spy a bargain

I do, which is why many people like me rarely post here but instead stick to PTS. The consensus of some people on here is 'don't like it, get out'. Actually we live in a democracy where we can air our views. I didn't say I have a problem with him owning it but what is very clear is how people feel uncomfortable with his egotistical self promotion, which seems to destroy many of the small fry stuff the small fry posters like us thrive on.

It also amuses me how his defenders say we want to keep things for ourselves! We would hardly be contributingto this thread if that was the case, would we?!
