1p finds at Tesco thread

Has anyone tried the tomatoes yet? I used tinned tomatoes, but I'm not big on chilli or anything hot. Can you tell the chilli is in there when you use them?

to be honest they are not hot at all in my view i could barely tell really very subtle in my opinion, i think they taste very good quality. They only like 2% chilli i think says on ingredients

Not a current 1p deal, but in February this year, the bags of Lindt chocolates (balls at Christmas) were down to 1p. I got four cases of them over a few days. BBE March 2011, but still going strong now. Nothing wrong with them.

Anyway, my point is, if your store has stock of the Lindt bagged chocolate (eggs at Easter), then these'll go down to 1p eventually, too. Every time I've been to Tesco over the last few days, I've scanned virtually every product on the Seasonal aisle (there's a self-scanner on that aisle). Best I've found so far is a big, hollow chocolate Easter bunny, priced at £1 on SEL, scanned for 40p. Didn't get any though!

very subtle chilli,I add them in with spag bol. sauce or with a pasta dish really nice flavour.

I bought last few tomatoes with chilli from my Tesco in Birmingham yesterday, today have not been replaced and the label has been removed so this definitely must be a discontinued line.

I went to Mereway T Northampton today, looks like i chose the wrong one because I found nothing!!! :-(

i noticed lots easter eggs too yellow labels £1.50 they dont usually have so many i thought after easter must over stocked ha.

I was lucky with the stag got the last few,they were squashed in at the end in a single row.the ones I got were barbecue not chilli did you look for the right ones?

yeh me neither, only weston favell i found something the tomato, northamptonshire seams bad for them unless i just picked wrong times and days as dont live in tesco lol, worth checking weston favell known again as found them twice there now in last few days

I do add them to things but always found tomato a bit acidic on my stomach unfortunatly, my mum and partner love them so go to good home ,they got along date anyway
