Anyway, my point is, if your store has stock of the Lindt bagged chocolate (eggs at Easter), then these'll go down to 1p eventually, too. Every time I've been to Tesco over the last few days, I've scanned virtually every product on the Seasonal aisle (there's a self-scanner on that aisle). Best I've found so far is a big, hollow chocolate Easter bunny, priced at £1 on SEL, scanned for 40p. Didn't get any though!
Hi
I think you are Manchester area _ which stores have you found the scanner in please?
Many thanks

Found the Dormen nuts too, although every packet was out of date.0 -

Hi
I've only just found this thread and don't want to wade through 70-odd pages, but does Tesco have these 1p items in a special shelf, or is it more a case of wading through the normal shelves to locate the reduced items? Also, don't understand the umbrella reduction - they don't have a 'sell by' date so what's the point of reducing it and keeping it a secret until the customer checks out and finds that it's only a 1p??0 -

Welcome to the thread, maybe you could scan through the pages from this year/the last few months rather than all 70 odd to get a feel for what has been discussed so far.
Regarding the umbrella, this I feel, comes under the mysterious ways of Mr T0 -

Hi were the capperberries the Bowes Hill brand or the Crespo ones as it's only the Bowes Hill ones that go through at 1p.0 -
Hello everyone,
Managed to get a few of the Colmans cheese sauce from two different stores.
Tricky to find as in one store was placed in the peppercorn sauce box. So a good tip is to check all the boxes on display.
Other store only peppercorn and bread sauce on display on the bottom shelf. Got on my hands and knees and started checking all the boxes on the floor. Right at the back of the shelf(3 boxes deep) I could see four letters "ddar", yay jackpot. I pulled it out and it was a whole box of the cheese sauce. Got a cauliflower to pad out the basket. Went to Self scan, every few packets the SS would alert the SA. Probably because the sauce packets are so light, the weight limit alarm gets triggered. Luckily SA didn't spot the items going through at 1p. All good.
Follow up to the cod roe item I have also found the John West herring roe is also 1p.
Can confirm Adzuki beans 74p on SS0
