I felt a 'bit' concious in T's today,as I had a bit of time I thought I'd scan a few other items to see if I could find any other 1p's,I'm sure the 'beep' was extra loud on the price checker today! :o lol

I scanned the three other flavours of stagg's,two other flavoures of colmans luxury sauces and two other red lion flavours along with some easter egg's! but all were the right (wrong! :)) price.
oh well worth a try! :)

They're phasing them out, according to an 'inside source'. Will make the penny items a gamble/will make you look a little ridiculous when you reject a crate of passata because they're not a penny!

No 1p items in Portsmouth (North Harbour) today. I tried some other Red Lion tins but they were all full priced. I found a couple of toys which were marked as RTC but again full priced. In this store the price scanners are 1) near car accessories in non-food, 2) next to chocolates in the confectionery aisle.

  • :j Jumblejack that was super lucky.

I went to Yeovil mr T armed with the brills google list only to find not a single item! They have opened a 'summer bargain shop' too and that had all the reduced items in one place at higher prices than usual! Now those 'gems' will not exist anymore. Spoilsports. Managed to do a weeks grocery shop for just £18.40...which amazed me as usually I spend £120+ I used a shopping list and was super savvy on discounted items. I was miffed at the long drive for nowt but did pick up a wooden rounders set knocked down to £3...so summer is sorted for the boys :) Now where do I get cheap window glass :rotfl:

I wanted the cheese sauce and stag chilli none in my area, i just got free crappy tomatos instead "jokes" id prob use them cheese sauces more ill end up giving tomatoes to my relatives as dont eat that many.

Seams area dependant some items it seams

I wish the tomatoes were available in my local stores, I'd stock up. What area are you in? Went in to my local tesco today and there were no 1p products off the list available. I did however snag 10 packs of Batchelors marrowfat peas half price on the reduced shelf - I sow them for pea shoots to add to salads and stir fries, 3kgs of carrots for 50p - orange, ginger and carrot juice for breakfast tomorrow. :j:j:j

I managed to find a load of the toms with chilli several weeks ago. They are a really nice product, there's not much chilli flavour to them but they are nice and thick chopped tomatoes, not watery at all, that taste really good. Worth every penny :rotfl:
