1p finds at Tesco thread

Capperberries 1p in Sealand Road, Chester, Store. Didn't have any of the others products though. Had to get a price check first as scaner not working, when came up as 1p sales person said I couldn't have them at that price, anyway went to get 8 more (still 20 left on self) and was followed round the shop! Went through ss till and wasn't arrested on way out but was waiting for a hand on my shoulder!
Helsby store also didn't have any of the other products.

can i just ask, are these items labelled as 1p or are they just 1p when you get to the tills?

I haver never seen them labelled. To be honest if they were labelled they would be bought straight away by any passing shopper.

adzuki beans scan at full price in 5 northamptonshire :S i went in, bedford, wellingborough, mereway, weston favell kettering, dont worry i havent made special trips just to go in them some days i drive to these locations anyway

lol because they not labelled they all get bought anyway as the person goes back to clear the shelf haha so glad it is not more for me :T:money: or less for me if someone already beaten me too it lol fair game i say.

Tricky to find as in one store was placed in the peppercorn sauce box. So a good tip is to check all the boxes on display.

Other store only peppercorn and bread sauce on display on the bottom shelf. Got on my hands and knees and started checking all the boxes on the floor. Right at the back of the shelf(3 boxes deep) I could see four letters "ddar", yay jackpot. I pulled it out and it was a whole box of the cheese sauce. Got a cauliflower to pad out the basket. Went to Self scan, every few packets the SS would alert the SA. Probably because the sauce packets are so light, the weight limit alarm gets triggered. Luckily SA didn't spot the items going through at 1p. All good.

Follow up to the cod roe item I have also found the John West herring roe is also 1p.

Today I found my first ever 1p bargain! I was sososo excited. It was a Kinnerton Hello Kitty Fondue Set. I think it may have been old stock from Christmas because the kitty bow is in the design of a holly, but still! And the Best Before Date is Nov 2011. There was only one in my local store, it had been put in the Easter Eggs clearance section. It was this one, but the box for my one is squashed up, but hey you can't complain for 1p! And the contents are undamaged.

It's here as a document, or here as a web page.

Annoyingly the location changes if I upload a new version of the doc. I can make some in place edits though. I tried a free URL redirect but it was problematic. Will investigate options - anyone know any good ones?
