I was a first poster yesterday and wish I had never bothered after the insults that are now being fired my way. I merely posted a message to offer some hope to those who are still waiting for goods to be delivered. There are some posting messages on here who need to vent their anger with Eutopia and not try and belittle genuine posters.

It's a discussion forum for everyones opinions. If you don't like what is posted then either ignore the post or press the Abuse button. If you want to hear what you want to hear then set up your own forum and moderate it.

It seems that you would be happy for members of MSE not to say anything and let people like Gary Cooper to have got away with conning people out of tens of thousands of pounds.

Yes I agree, but as soon as somebody puts anything on as a 'novice', you 'experts' shout us down as stooges. That is not a forum for everyone to discuss it is a dictatorship!

You are going to frighten the genuine user away and allow the fraudsters to operate.

This utopia dyson scam is a slight cause of worry for me, I gave my credit card details to a company who clearly are not a company I would have given them to normally. Like it or not, people searching for info on this company are landing on this thread due to it coming up on the google search, if you want to post you have to register, then you get labelled a scam mongering friend or family of the poxy company you are worried about.
So I'll ask my question once more, maybe someone can help, should I be worried about losing money or will mastercard cover me for any fraud.....actually I've answered my own query, I'll phone the sodding credit card company. (jeez most forums are a lot more friendly than this one, even 4chan is friendlier on it's newfags)

Just email and say if you don't get it in he next 48 hours, you'll report them to Watchdog. It's worked for every other newbie on this thread.

It appears to be a scam, but no one has yet confirmed that they have been conned of any money. This doesn't mean that in a few months they'll be debited something from their account as the company has all the necessary details.

I sincerely hope that I don't put any new person off posting. But would you trust information from a new person? I would be skeptical.

If I went on the Insurance sub-forum and wanted advice, would I trust someone who who had just registered and possibly had a vested interest or would I trust someone like dacouch, who obviously works in insurance, goes out of his way to help others, and has a few thousand posts verifying his authenticity?

Same with the Motoring sub-forum, would I like advice from some of the top posters or someone new who may be giving incorrect information.

MSE allows people to post pretty freely and this is often abused by owners of companies. For both you, Karlos and Jibaro, to query my postings, shows more willing than most of those that have posted on this thread once and disappeared. Some of those will have genuine reasons for not being around, others well...

All I can say is that you'll find MSE to be a very friendly and helpful place once you find your feet and navigate around.

Even though I get MSE newsletter every week, and jump on the forums to view deals... I have not found myself searching for answers, the same as everyone else on this thread and therefore don't need to post anything, until now..

Yes - I've ordered a dyson animal25 - yes, I got the message on the 8th Dec - can't process the card, can you transfeer the money... I should have stopped there as alarm bells were ringing - anyway it is done... I only looked into this today... imagine my sinking feeling when I get no reponse on the phone and I find this thread! - I read through all the posts tonight, took down the addresses (thanks to those who have shared what they found) and I'm gearing myself to start e-mailing everyone to confirm my order or get my money back.
Well I have not started yet but I just received an e-mail from 'Anthony' ..... it says....

You will get shot down on here even if you are genuine, and I'm not sure about you either! If you are genuine, my advice would be start chasing for your money back because the whole thing sounds like a scam scam scam. Luckily I never did a transfer myself, but even so, this is b~llsh7t. I still don't know if this sham company will try and con my credit card even though I didn't fall for the bank transfer swindle.
Anyone looking for a cheap dc31 animal, they were only £119.99 on amazon a few weeks ago, they'll probably be back down to that price or less after chrimbo. The dc31 Animal Exclusive direct from dyson with quidco cashback doesn't look so bad now either.

Jeez, what a lot of hot air over the past 24 hours.

I'm still waiting for a non-newbie to post on here to say they got theirs. So far it is 100% newbies which you must admit by law of averages, does actually make one very suspicious.

So all you complaining newbies, there is no point arguing the toss as it is all too obvious at the moment - apologies to the one or two who may be genuine.

It is also rather strange that we get this peak of activity on here, at the same time as Utopia no longer appears on a google search for DC31's today (on Monday it was on the 3rd page). So maybe this maybe the last throw of the dice for Anthony John Ensinger et al.
