Also any suggested alternatives to exercising throught the day with little effort ?
Thanks
Have a positive week everybody!
Have you seen any of the ten minute solution series dvds? There are various themes and I love mine! There is effort involved but it's nice knowing it's over in ten minutes. They're about £4 each
On an exercise note, I've decided I'm going to try the couch to 5k programme. We're going to walk down to the park tomorrow so I can see how much effort it'll take to get there, then do my workout, then come back. I really hope I can motivate myself to do it, although my weight loss so far hasn't been astounding I have been seeing changes in my body over the past 2-3 weeks and as I've stepped up the exercise during that time I don't think it's a coincidence!I have spread my dreams under your feet;

I like green days as winter food too MrsM all that lovely warming comfort food.
My lunch of JP and cheesy beans filled me up to the brim today so much so that I couldn't fit in my planned pasta so just had a plate of steamed veg. There is no way I'll fit in the bowl of fruit and 2nd B choice that is next on the list!
OH has requested veg chilli for his return tomorrow so another green day tomorrow for me. Maybe dippy egg and SF chips for lunch too mmmmmm.
I'm off to watch some telly now on BBC Iplayer, have a good night everyone. xx"People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -

well im gutted started last wednesday after weigh in the tuesday night and i have not cheated once at all since wednesday had to go to weigh in tonight as out tomorrow and i had lost half a bloody pound. I know a loss is a loss but im still upset.
I have filled in my diary religiously and the consultant tonight had a quick look but suggested i gibe it to my normal one next week, and she said it looks fine to me. I have exercised for over 2 and a half hours this past week as well.
i cant have done anymore i really cant. everyone raves about how much you lose in the first week and then it tails off, well if it tails off for me i will be gaining every week.
sorry for the rant but upset. I wont give up though but still upset as weighed myself on my scales just before i went and i had lost 5 pounds on them!!0 -

You're not wrong! I was out of work from last August until July - the first week I went permanent at my new place my old boss phone's up and offers me my dream job back (I left it because the office moved 70 miles but now their moving back). Sadly my new job pays too much for me to leave but how typical!0 -

i did the C25k 2 years ago - as much as i hated it i also loved it and altho it longer than the 9 weeks or whatever it is he says - i did do it and ran an offical 5k race but injured myself in the process and am only just getting back to running now
its very motivating - you think you cant do any more intervals then a little voice in your ear says run so you feel you have too !! you wont be able to walk the next day tho - just to warn you :rotfl:
i consider myself to be pretty fit - im a gym instructor and do alot of classes - step and dance type ones but when i started running again it took about 3 goes before it stopped hurting the next day
theres a C25K thread on here which may help you:j MFi3 wannabee :j

I have to plan red days but not green - I love my green and would do anything for a green day - and it's only my second red day :rotfl:
Can anyone help with a silly question - I've heard people mention Savoury Mince (on the OS forum) - what is it and can it be red day friendly or does it have green veg in it?
Thanks
