not having anything for breakfast- wont help :D You gotta stoke your boiler!

I dont really struggle for breakfast on EE, mainly because Im at home in the mornings, and to be fair EE means you can graze regularly too. Might suit you if you are at home! If you are out and about then you can take fruit salad, couscous salad, pasta salad etc in tupperwares.

I usually have 2 breakfasts a fruit one ( strawbs, pienapple, mango etc) with yoghurt and then an 11ses breakfast of bacon/andor eggs, mushrooms beans.

I know what you mean about "overeating" the whole time I have done SW I have eaten the sorts of volume that I have never eaten before, people I know cant believe how much weight I have lost without stopping stuffing my face -however, its usually superfree that keeps the metabolism working a-ok.

    SNAP :rotfl:

Yeah had a nice sleep and got up cos I was starving LOL :D So had a punnet of strawbs with a WW yoghurt :A ( onto my last yog again!!!)

Cant be bothered to make the roast dinner tonight, its going to involve peeling and stuff.

Could I turn today into a green day?? and just have a quorn burger and wedges instead :o It will be a lot less hassle although a lot less superfree if I dont eat the b squash and the beetroot etc. just the idea of trying to peel this b squash with this dodgy hand is not looking good!

I did have one rasher of bacon though. How many syns is that?
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
  • dizzy that's an astonishing loss, I hope I could do even a third of that!
'Stoking the engine' sounds like a good philosophy, I'm all for not going hungry and grazing would really suit me. I'm at my desk alot and having something to hand to snack on would stop the evil influence of the bakery:D
I'll have to stock up on superfrees I think, also the chance of getting some more fruit and veg into my little ones is too good to pass up. I just need to make sure they're getting the right balance of nutrients with being so young...the good thing is that they're generally not fussy eaters and already love fruit and veg, my DS demands a bowl of tomatoes or blueberries when he gets in :)
It'll be great not ot have to cut out rice...I do love it but always found in the past that it was banned...in fact I'm wondering if my magic rice recipe is SW friendly...that would be a bonus:T

  • well it's a bit hit and miss but basically I sweat an onion (would use fry light or dry fry) then add peppers, sweetcorn, tomatoes any other veg I have, garlic, bit of chilli or curry powder and then some rice and liquid to cook it and towards the end of the cooking a can of tuna. It varies depending on what I've got around but it's filling, cheap and I'm hoping with maybe a tweak SW friendly

Can I just say how inspiring everyone is on here, especially those who are not 100% healthwise xxxxx
  • Hi girls (and guys!)

I have done slimming world many many times before, lost around 2 stone each time but stop going & its all goes back on again and a bit more! The lady whos class I used to go to posted on facebook that this weeks 'best' magazine has got a voucher for free membership in it so I have bought it & on monday I am going back! I was always a green girl, in the days before EE which I found super easy too! The key is being prepared! Making sure there is lots of fruit & free things to snack on, meal planning, these are all things I have to remember!!

Need to break the news to my cake loving boyfriend too!!!

D - fajitas - fry light, chicken, masses of pepper and onions, garlic and chilli. Need 1/2 glass white wine to cook it in too. 2 tortilla wraps and 2 tbsp sour cream - will work out syn values

As Sian said fajitas are high in syns (I love them too!). But taco shells are 2.5 syns each so are lower. Maybe try those?

Sour cream is 1.5syns per level tablespoon.

    Evening all

    Well done losers!

Today my work kids went to McD's for lunch and I went and got a jacket potato from the market :D.

    Green day: (will update later)

B - shreddies (HEB) with skimmed milk (HEA)
L - jacket spud with beans
D - jacket spud with cheese (HEA) and LF coleslaw (3.5syns), marg (1syn)
Snacks - 2 x small bananas, kellogs fibre plus (HEB), tesco corn crisps (3.5syns)
Drinks - water, NAS squash, fizzy water, coffee

    Total syns = 8

I know I've had 2 jacket spuds today but I'm not in mood to cook so will just take the easy option!
