Well done to all the losers and Hugs to all who need.

I have been officially back on program for a day and disaster has struck!
I like daisy was planning on getting up and going to the gym before work, however it was pouring down and theres no way I'm cycling in the rain, to get to the gym so I stayed in bed and well the alarm didn't go off, so I had to dash around, and didnt get chance to have breakfast which i had planned and to top it off I am now going for a curry and drinks tonight, so thats the diet right out of the window, even if I tried there is no low syn curry to be had and Curry - I love curry, its sooo yummy. That also means what I was planning on having for lunch today has gone straight out the window and I can't afford the syns.
Also the dilemma I have now is do I plan, flexi syn and count count count, or my weigh in is on sunday, do I just wait and start again properly them????????????????????????????? ohhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Also if I extra Easy my plan looks like this....

Breakfast: Yoghurt, pot of carrotts - told you I just randomly grabs stuff but at least its all FREE.
Lunch: not a clue gonna have to get something..... Salad?
Tea: Curry and this is at worst: Curry11.5, saag aloo split with OH 5.5, plain naan 10 (again split), rice 1.5 (split) Drinks: Fizz 8ish 2x glasses, pub before hand cidar 12, that gives me a grand total of 48.5 -
Oh good lord, I think I am heading for abandon today and start again tomorrow.
    God I'm a rubbish dieter.
But this time I will do it.....

    :(

Hello everyone! Sorry I slipped off the radar a bit, moved house and my internet isn't quite back to normal yet. So i'll probably drift in and out for the next few weeks till it's fixed and I can come on every day as usual.

Been sticking to SW this week! V pleased with myself.

MrT brought all my SW food to the new house (forgot quark tho, doh!) and I have been having mostly green days as we're trying to save money by not eating as much meat. yesterday I had a green day and 16 syns.

Today I'm having EE coz we fancied some chicken as a friday treat:

2 slices ww bread (heb) and 1 scrambled egg mixed with 1/4 of my hea milk (3 syns for the flora and ketchup I had with it)
1 apple and a cup of tea with the other 1/4 hea milk
salad of cucumber, tomato, cold pasta and tuna or ham.
    mugshot
    1 banana
stir fry chicken with rice and veg with soy sauce and chilli.
    1 small (28g) dime bar (8 syns I think)

That leaves 1/2 my hea which I will have in cups of tea throughout the day.
total syns is 11 but might go up depending on what I put on the chicken stir fry tonight.

    Happy friday :)

PS - I SOOO want SW to work this time, and I want me to stick to it! I wanna be thin by Xmas like this thread title says!

    Morning all!

Well, my first day was a bit of a disaster. Some unplanned family stuff meant that it went like this: (was planning on a green day)

B - micro scrambled egg, loads of mushrooms and tomatoes, wholemeal roll (HEB)

    L - couscous & veg - 1 syn

D - massive amount of plain pasta (enough for 2 normal large adult servings) and 3 spoons s/f jelly

about 1/2 pint skimmed milk in tea (HEA)

not nearly enough food and definitely not enough F&V - although I wasn't hungry from the stress of the evening, I guess

Today needs more planning, but I haven't got my head around EE yet

B - scrambled egg, tomatoes, mushrrom, wholemeal roll (HEB)

L - undecided (may well be frittata with masses of veg, cos I've got too much in my fridge) (tomatoes, courgettes, peppers, onions, mushrooms and potatoes the size of peas!!)

D - fajitas - fry light, chicken, masses of pepper and onions, garlic and chilli. Need 1/2 glass white wine to cook it in too. 2 tortilla wraps and 2 tbsp sour cream - will work out syn values

Dh like very meaty fajitas, so I'd rather not measure the chicken. I would do red on that basis, but am wondering if I can EE it?

Also planning on sugar free jelly (because it's there.... and a banana and maybe some pineapple?)

Need to read the body optimising stuff, but spent half the day with the accountant yesterday and still clearing up from having 4 ill children :(

Hope you all have a fantastic SW day :D

Oh there's another thought, how come life sometimes just seems to get in the way, right, well you just watch me this time I am going to do it. I have been racking my brains all morning to try and figure out how I get cracking on the diet and enjoy life as well, maybe you can't maybe you have to rain it in abit......
So i could either be miserable and go for a begrudge curry and try to sick to diet and fall of the wagon because its not fair I can't have my curry and eat it, or I can allow myself a break and and realise that sometimes in life there is a blip and you get on with it.
So the plan, have my curry and a few drinks almost like a send off to the old ways and in the morning wake up afresh and really get stuck into the diet, might even get myself to the gym - lets not go too mad shall we ;)
I am also going to meal plan for the week.....
Oh watch this space, i think the cogs are beginning to turn and the gears are beginning to shift:o

Shall be back later with a meal plan,

    Thanks for letting me rant

Tortilla wraps are ridiculously high in syns, 7 each for even the 'healthy' ones. I would probably try and find another option rather than having 2 if I were you. One thing I have done before is to have a tortilla on my plate and fill the plate with the fillings and salad etc and then just eat the wrap cut up in pieces towards the end of the meal. Other than that I would avoid having a wrap and serve mine with something else like couscous or rice to avoid the syns.
Sorry if I am a bit of a downer! I love fajitas!

    Hi Greent

Looking at what you're planning on eating...you would definately be best doing an EE day....then you dont have to bother about how much chicken you eat ;)

just remember tho that on EE you only have 1 HEA & 1 HEB

EE is really not that complicated as long as you make sure that at the end of each day whatever you have consumed.... 1/3 of it has been fresh fruit & veg (that doesnt include peas corn potatoes parsnips tho...these would come under the other 2/3 bit)

Thanks Sian and dizzyk!! This is where I'm going to find online harder than a group - except that there are you wonderful lot to chat to! :D

Sian - I think I'll go for one wrap in that case - didn't think they'd be so high.:eek: If I tear it in half I can pretend to myself I've had 2 - and I'll use less sour cream that way ;)

dizzy - thank you for your advice - that's a nice and easy way of looking at things - just what I need!!:D
