Well done all you losers :j:j:j:j
MrsM you amaze us as always :T:T:T:T Thanks for the recipes I WILL get round to having a go, just need to make sure I have the ingredients in :o

WI for me and the 2lb gained last week has gone again but as someone else said I find the naughty stuff effects the following week so expecting a gain then. Will do my best to stick to plan as back to work after half term. I find it easier at work. Funny how I can resist all the goodies in the staff room but not at home :p.

My darling hubby has bought me not 1 but 4 longline jumpers, he said its to make up for not having the dosh to spoil me last Christmas and our silver wedding anniversary. We're also going out for lunch today as well. So am doing well what with the jumpers and my snow boots he bought last week :D. The jumper I'm wearing today is VERY clingy so can't afford to gain too much without it showing :rotfl:

Carvery for lunch so shouldn't do too much damage [depends if I have pudding :D].

Sorry for waffling but you all know how I feel, losing weight/new clothes and such, I just bore my family with it so don't get the same positive feeling.

    Thank you my friends :A:A:A:A
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

everyday this week i have gone way over my syns and i seem to have no self control

    heeeeeelp

Don't fret over it - I did the same a couple of weeks ago. I just picked a day to start back on plan and meal planned and shopped SW style to make sure I had in the right foods. Went back on it with a renewed enthusiasm and no guilt feelings whatsoever!
Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.
  • Have treated myself to to some items from the river island sale as a well done for the 6lbs loss over the last 3 weeks :-)
  • Are these the ones your after Vickie?? I've got some ordered on our on-line shop - thought they'd be nice as a treat!:D Really struggling with the Plan this week.:(

If you need any syn values e-mail me and I'd be more than happy to look them up for you!

yep they are the ones love! I used the 1 syn = 20 calories rule and got 5.5 syns per dessert.

Thank you :) - i shall do. I have a 2010 food directory so its mainly the new things i need looking up!
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

Does anybody know why Asda 55g wholemeal pitta bread is a HEB choice and Tesco is 81/2 syns - ??

at a guess more fibre in one than the other??

    WI tomorrow morning!!
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last
  • Am i the only one who cheats a bit with different brands of products re. healthy extras? Ie. alpen light bars - I can't afford to buy these at £1.60 for 5 (where 2 is a HE), i get the asda ones - they're similar in calories, carbs, protein and fibre. Fair enough if you eat 4 alpen lights a day but i don't, so will keep doing this. Ditto for pitta breads, i count 1 brown pitta as 1 brown pitta, whatever brand it is. I struggle with the expense of a healthy diet enough as it is without things like this!

Hi everyone. I've kept up with my exercise week!! Went out on the bike for 50mins this morning. It would have been a bit longer but the route OH told me to go on had a locked gate part way down a track so I had to do a different route.

Well done to Mrs M and all other losers! Fingers crossed I'll be joining you all with a loss this week!

I'm having a green day today:

Brekkie - rice, yogurt, lemon curd (2)
Lunch - small jacket potato, cod & chorizo stew (HEB + 3 syns)
SNack - pear, treatsize choccy buttons (4)
Tea - chicken pasta bake (HEA&B) with salad.

Totally know where you are coming from - we struggle every week to buy what's needed to stay on the Plan.:(

It is difficult :( i tend to bulk buy stuff when its on offer. I think i still have 4 or 5 boxes left from the kelloggs fibre plus offer that was on a couple of months ago.. I also buy boxes of cereal when its on offer as well. Ok it means i have about 6 boxes of cereal in the cupboard but at least i know i have plentiful supply!!

I also mooch around £ shops as well. My local one sells alpen light bars 99p a box, ryvita 2 for 99p, plus some of the heb listed cereal. I'm lucky to have a QD nearby as well as they sell stuff cheap like the £ shops do.

When OH had his car we would also go to asda at about 3pm on a sunday to get all the yellow sticker stuff - fruit and salad all 10-15p. Ok it doesnt have much life but it lasts til wednesday :) you just have to rummage to find the best bits!!

The thing i find expensive is the meat and fish i've been lucky to get good quality yellow sticker stuff but most of the time reduced meat/fish looks bad!! I was lucky to get some pork loins 1/2 price the other day tho... i used 6 in my chinese style pork and i have 2 in the freezer for another 2 meals.
All hail to the sale!!!!!!
