Im like one of those bump and go toys at the mo - you wouldnt want me near your paintwork lol :rotfl:0 -
Can anyone be kind enough to suggest some ‘free’ or low syn foods (with syn values) other than the obvious fruit & veg that are available at Aldi? I’ve never really shopped there before but would like to more but only know the regular supermarket branded stuff.
Thanks, C xx0 -
If you are desperate there is the instant cupboard food of pasta with veg and chopped toms
This is what I would normally make but I had pasta for lunch so not really feeling it again today. All I can think about is pizza  but I will not cave!! Think I'll have omlette.

hello ladies
Old wobbly pants is backtook ages to catch up ....you lot have been busy!
Sorry Ive been so antisocial but today is the first day Ive felt anything near human to be honest.....yestderday was the worst day:(
I think the Anti bios are working as the pain is now not going all the way from my ear down my neck, Im still not using the zimmer when Im 'home alone' as my balance is still way out from where it was (thats a laugh aint it :rotfl:.....but you all know what I mean) so Im not taking any chances and still crawling about...not felt up to doing any dusting while Im down here as yet thoBut when OH is here to stand with me Im very gingerely getting to the loo and bed on the zimmer again so things are getting back to normal.....then its back to the crutches cos Its doing my head (and its scared the carp out of me to be honest
) who'd a thunk an ear infection would affect me so badly now!!!!!!
Anyways I wont be making WI tonight.....dont think it will do me any good crawling over the car park & gravel to the church hall :eek:OHs mum has been trying to help out doing me some lunch (but brought heinz big soup instead of ww) and another ham roll but apart from that and my best friend the 8pm kit kat Ive not synned at all she made a cottage pie with carrot/turnip top for us for tea sw style for OH to warm up so that was good.
So enough waffle, Hello newbies.....well done losers.
Hope you're feeling better Lynz with you're hand and the hospital & the emotional eating blip xx0 -
so here we go, today has looked like this so far...
Green
B - 2 w/meal toast (B) butter (1.5) marmite (F)
L - Mushroom omelette (1)
D - celery soup (F) 2 bread (B)
Snx - vegetable rice (F). 1 bread (3) cheese (A). Coffee frappe (A)
I need to stop using my B's as bread too... I have been so used to eating bread the past two weeks ... bread is a hard habit to kick! That's my 1st habit to break this week. No 2 is to move about a bit more!
I have 4 kitkat chunkys in the freezer... how many syns are they each?
I have a sweet craving at the moment... I will try a yoghurt but knowing they are there it may not hit the spot.:("People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0 -

Bless you for thinking of me while you are so wobbly, been worried about you today but glad to see you posting xxx:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
I'm trying to figure out what to make some tea. I've got some cod and prawns in the fridge and some potatoes soni was thinking of fish pie. Trouble is I'm not sure about the sauce. All I've got is quark. Is there anything I can do with the quark to make this into anything that resembles fish pie?0
-
have you got flour, you could syn flour and make a white sauce ( if you have milk in your allowance?) When I have used quark in hot food it seperates and goes "bitty" tastes ok but looks really terrible.
Personally I would go for cod and chipswith a prawn salad to start

Thanks for the speedy reply. No flour in the house unfortunately. Maybe I'll go for fish and chips or maybe fish potatoes and veg. No salad until I get paid tomorrow either so I might save the prawns and have prawn sandwiches tomorrow. Thanks anyway.0

Evening,
Well I went back to class on wed and they let me rejoine ( I had op and have't been to class for 2 weeks and i have a lot to lose befor I even think about getting any awards so I don't get disheartened they let me start again). I had put on 5 lb sice the last time I was there. I was told that this time try and only do EE forget about red and green which is hard when thats all I'm used to. I've been good so far and not found it too hard I think I am finally getting my head round it thats a lot to do with reading about what you all eat.
Well done to everyone who has lost and hugs who are not happy or just need them.
