  • Morning all,

So I've been reading through the past lot of posts.

Littleoldme, I completely understand where you are coming from. When I first joined SW I really didn't know what to make of my consultant, I didn't think she was overly friendly or welcoming and found the whole thing a little odd.

6 weeks down the line and I have to say that the more I go to group the more I enjoy it and my consultant really is fantastic. If you listen to her every week she gives advice and receipe tips. If someone has a gain or a STS she highlights what has went wrong (as it can happen to any of us) and we all try to come up with suggestions on how we could avoid a repeat of the same scenario. She gets to know her members the more you go and has craic and banter with us too.

A lot of times I have been crying with laughter. Also 6 weeks on and I've lost a stone, cravings have been mimimal and I haven't felt the need to jack it all in. For the first time I feel like I'm learning about myself and diet.

Skintslimmer, I hope you find your mojo, go to the other class if you feel it will get you back on track, it will be worth it :D

Redmel you'll have that gain off in no time, probably with a massive loss next week :D

Congratulations Vicki, a loss is a loss and always great.

Hi Vicki, I may be wrong but I don't think the cadbury's cereal bars are a HEB. It may be worth checking, especially as you mention possibly having 2 of them!

i double checked, on the slimming world website, latest healthy extras is

"1 kelloggs fibre plus milk choclate cereal bar, 28 grams". Thank goodness for that. and they are quite yummy and good for chcoloate cravin g:D

Not wanting to sound like a nag buuuut.....are they def the kellogs ones you have? Just asking because you wrote cadburys and they dod do a cereal bar which I don't think is a HEB. They are VERY yummy though...I wish they were HEB!

  • Morning everyone.

Hope you had a good evening. I am well over my syns for this week but I've drawn a line under it and started again today (1 day before WI :D) Back on the bike too, I just need to get back into the habit of remembering to get on it!!

Today - Green (allowing myself 10 syns)

    B - Spanish Omelette - wasn't that good this time :( (1) Ginger Tea (2)
L - Either Meatless carbonara (F) or Veg chow mein (F)
    D - Veggie Chilli (F) Rice (F)
    Snx - 2 x Mandarin (F) banana & yog (F) 4 ryvita (B) 2 triangles (A)

Mmmm I still need an A & B in there and 7 syns to gobble down.

The cauliflower cheese from the latest magazine wasn't very nice in my opinion. The quark, egg & cheese mix for the sauce was yack. I think I prefer to syn the flour and have 'proper' sauce.

Have a fab day everyone xxx

The Kelloggs bars are HEB now - but only one bar allowed! They are very good though.

Morning all! I feel like a zobie today! It was my turn to work the weekend so today is my 10th day of getting up at 6am!!!! I have the day off tomorrow so I'll get a weeny lie in but probably will still be up at 6.30am!!! I am going out for the day with my Mum though so I don't mind getting up early for that really!! Althought I doubt it will be a 100% sw friendly day but we'll do plenty of walking!!

I'm riding tonight, then I need to go to morrisons, then I have class so I will be well shattered after that lot!! Not looking forward to WI, haven't stuck to the plan properly for ages, not being totally bad but def not 100% either. Must get my butt into gear!!! Here's the plan for today (Green):

    Brekkie - porridge (HEA&B), banana
    Snack - pear
Lunch - jacket potato, cheese slice (HEA), HM coleslaw (1)
Tea - ?? need to get something in morrisons, maybe fajitas or something!
  • Thanks for all the replies re classes and what happens at yours. I will stick with this one for a bit longer and see what I think then, there are another couple in the area (with different consultants) I could move to if I really am not getting on with this one.

I think one thing that got my "back up" at bit was she said in our welcome talk how she does not push body magic as not everyone can do exercise but the book was there if we wanted to read it. I am a real believer that getting out and doing something, even if it is walking round the block for 10 mins is better than nothing and I thought that attitude was not great.
