    Morning everyone.

Well my week of no bread is over and WI this morning. Despite my post yesterday I am a teeny bit disappointed. I have lost 1lb. I'm not sad about that as such just that yesterday when I peeked I had lost 2lb. But hey ho perhaps it is just some water retention and I am sure I will see it next week ... I think it is * week next week though. However, I am staying with the no bread as it hasn't been hard really and my stomach is much flatter so I look thinner anyway.

Oh plus I have reached my 1 stone off!! at last!!!

I had to buy new work trousers the weekend got them from M&S and bought size 14's!!!! I was sooo pleased as I was having to try 18's on as 16's were too small before starting SW in June.

    Today.. Green
    B - eggs (F)
    L - SW chips and salad (F)
    D - cheese & potato pie (2xA)
    Snx - 4 ryvita (B) quark (F) ham (B) tomato (F)

I have rice pudding in the oven for an A and a treat tomorrow.

Have a fab day everyone xxx

Sorry I'm new to this (went to first meeting this week), but if you do EE, then surely salmon shouldn't count as part heb as it's free?

    Thanks

Sorry i was completely away with the faries yesterday, not feeling too well. I was originally gaving a green day which is why i put it as part heb i just never changed it when i wrote on here.:o

No clue what i'm eating today, i've totally lost my appetite:(, feeling really rough so off to dr's soon.
So far i've managed 1 weetabix made with hot water and splash of milk, but cant stomach my usual nana

Had a bettyb/greek inspired meal tonight.
LF Halloumi done on the George Foreman type grill, wm pitta, hummus, loads of salad: tomatoes, chillis, beetroot (not sure if that is very greek!), potato wedges, lemon wedges. Very, very nice and easy (I already had the hummus in the fridge).
Veg box arrives tomorrow so will see what that holds. I have been going through recipe books finding new recipes to make low syn. I love a cooking challenge!
    Good luck everyone,
    Liz x

    ooh sounds good :)
I want to sign up to a vege box but OH thinks they are too expensive - he's got a point when we've got lidl within cycling distance!

Yesterday was a nightmare as the leek cannelloni went badly wrong (my own fault, i let the cream cheese get too hot and it curdled - what a waste!!) so I ended up bunging some meatballs in with the tom sauce i had made, before remembering i was not EE but green that day!! so accidentally went way over my syns! :(

today I am having a MrsM day (taken from the EE meal plan she so kindly created) with a few tweaks:
    • 2 weetabix (B) (and 2 tsp sugar - 2 syns)
    • 250ml semi (A)(but i'll have skimmed milk so i can use the extra for my tea!)
    • home made soup
    • cottage pie
    • veggies
    =1A+B and 2 syns

will prob have a muller light and/or a hot choc (2 sysn) at some point too
I am going to add some pasta to my soup to fill me up more, so will prob just be a clear (not blended) vegetable soup with carrot, parsnip and onion - might try a minestrone but feels a bit ambitious!!

EDIT: I've just found this recipe on the BBC site, which I will be trying today with a few tweaks:
    [STRIKE]1 tbsp olive oil [/STRIKE]
    2 carrots , chopped
1 large onion , finely chopped
    1l vegetable stock
    400g can chopped tomatoes
200g frozen mixed peas and beans (i am going to use chopped up runner beans)
[STRIKE]250g pack fresh filled tortellini (we used spinach and ricotta)[/STRIKE] leftover cooked pasta spirals from last night
    handful of basil leaves (optional)
    [STRIKE]grated parmesan , to serve [/STRIKE]

That's exactly what started me on SW too. I was determined there was no way I was going to buy size 18!

Congratulations on your milestone:T My second WI this morning and I had only lost 0.5 lb:( But that's 6lb over two weeks. If anything I stuck to the plan better in week 2 (where's confused smilie when you need him?). However, undaunted I will keep at it!!!

Glorious autumn day here. I've had a long walk already.

Weigh in last night - another 1.5lb off. That's 2 stone 6.5 lbs in 11 weeks. A little disappointed to have not got the 2.5 stone award last night but that will come next week. I've dodged a bullet this week since I had possibly the least healthy weekend ever and still managed to run at the gym enough to give a 1.5lb loss.

Consistent losses for 11 weeks, it's going well. More to come!

On the topic of fluids, when I worked in an office we had pint glasses so i'd get through a few of them a day, but i was always in the loo! now I work from home it's not such an issue!
