Excellent - the first couple of weeks aregreat aren't they.
Indeed they are. I had my very first WI today and lost 5.5 pounds:j. I'm delighted and plan to enjoy it while it lasts. Hope I haven't offended anyone by asking questions. I have been listening to the answers (honest:o).
May I ask (on EE), is it OK to split the HEs? I was wondering whether I could have some milk and some cheese? And is it essential to pair the cereals in the book e.g. must I have Puffed Wheat with scan bran or could I have Ryvita instead?0 -
Not sure about the pairing of cereals but splitting HEs on EE is fine I think!
Quickie from me:
Ive done really well today :j go me again!
Breakfast mango banana yog
Lunch was a very successful - beans and jacket with side salad and fruit salad and a muller lite
Am hungry now tho so v pleased dinner is ready in the slow cooker so having a big bowl of beef and veg stew with 3 mini yorkies - they are a lot better than I expected, so I recommend them to you Dizzy and everyone else, although I did do them for slightly less than the packet says ( it says 4 mins) but I know from experience they go rather brittle, s did them for 2.5 and actually quite nice!
However am really starving so peeled a potato to make a few SW chips to have with a 2nd portion of this beef & veg stew in a bit, along with another portion of mango and yog and that all important dime bar- i missed my chocfix yesterday. thats what you get for engaging in syns too early - not a good plan IMO!
All being well will be 10 syns ( 3x yorkies and 7 dime bar)
Caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror today, looking slimmer again in the face so that is good. Also noticed OH said I looked nice this morning and wryly remembered last time I wore it ( last winter) he told me "you cant go out like that" as my boobs were over spilling out of the V neck!
great super brilliant news from the hospital for you dizzy, im so chuffed for you xx
Keep on going gals and guys if there are any still out there :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Undecided about drinks - everyone going will be drinking - know that does not mean I have to but as its a 40th I fancy a glass and dont want to end up ordering a pint of Cobra beer so will take my mini bottle of red wine plus a big bottle of fizzy water, will see if I want the wine when there.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

this is what i do Eric, and we had it last night,if i am flush or its on offer i buy passata, and if not (normally) i mash a tin of chopped tomatoes and chuck in some garlic and chilli, lazy of course!
its real good and i then i chuck in whatever meat we have lying around, although if i'm short of syns for that day, chorizo is great in it! innit? :rotfl:
asda do passata in their smart price range, 25p per carton, tastes fine but never had any other passata to compare it to hth:) yor pasta sauce sounds lush too, might have to give that a go.

Hello Everybody. I really don't know what I'm doing-not very used to computers! Rejoined SW yesterday & have been looking around for added support. Lost 31/2 stone a few years ago, but most has gone back on now-am optimistic though. It's changed a bit & I didn't have a computer then. can't get my head round EE just yet, so will stick yo mostly green for a bit.Only problem is I'm Coeliac-only diagnosed a couple of years ago-I don't think it will be too much of a problem. any help or advice greatly apppreciated-I'm very impressed with you all-Hope to be able to join in! Where do you learn how to do this properly?0

Just a quicky... the Thai Green curry I posted earlier today.... v v v nice. I used normal skimmed milk and coconut essence... can't tell the difference between that and coconut milk.
Brill... saved loads of syns.

Hi and welcome to the thread. I'm afraid I know next to nothing about coeliac dietery requirements, but with SW the meals are healthy as well as slimming so hopefully you'll be fineI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -

We're here to ask questions and to learn, so I'm sure you're not offending anybody
Splitting HEs can be fraught with danger if you're not careful with the adding up. Halving your milk allowance to have half a portion of cheese is fairly easy but doing the same with HEBs is harder.
Scan Brans are not the tastiest item you will ever eatbut they have a LOT of fibre which is why you're encouraged to eat them. They can be found in group and also at Holland & Barret. Drink plenty of water along with them and you will see favourable weight losses
I let my mind wander and it never came back!0
