Evening all, (what's left of it!) Didn't weigh in tonight - I was out all afternoon and had no time to change to 'weigh in clothes' so I went in my jeans which weigh 1.1/2lb. I help with weigh in so wouldn't let my consultant down and being at target means I didn't have to weigh. I think I have maintained though by the looks of my scales which are usually same as hers.
Well done to all the losers and hugs for those who need it. Keep up the good work!!! x0 -

The only choc I get is the ocassional fibre plus bar...but "proper" choc bars are a thing of the past...and the strange thing is that I can't go down the choc aisle in the supermarket as the smell makes me feel sick :j
Im another one who could live on porridge... I slice a banana -put half in the bottom of the dish -tip my porridge on-then put the rest of the nana on and some defrosted berries mmmmmm

Skint-catt - I know what you are on about-I remember reading that people who have a diet higher in dairy products lose more weight..... I eat a lot of dairy .....I love it
It's amazed me how quickly I'm getting over my bread days! I use to get through several packs of crumpets a week on my own! Had one with yeast extract on the other day and was not too impressed. I've not had any choc/crisps/cake since I started 2 weeks ago - not really missed those foods. I've gone off my soya cheese too.
Not eaten dairy since I went vegan 5 years ago - was intollerant to dairy and eggs as a veggie so they were easy enough to give up.
Banana on porridge - top idea that and will be breakfast tomorrow:)flutterbyuk25 wrote: »Magic porridge is simply your HEB allowance of Oats (28g) mixed with a pot of fat free yogurt. Make it the night before, then the oats swell up as they absorb the yogurt by morning. You can add chopped fruit etc too.
I eat it cold but you can warm it slightly in the microwave but be careful as sometimes yogurt can go funny in microwave!
It saves me using my HEA allowance on milk, and means I can have cheese instead
It's very filling and yummy.

Sounds good - I use to like oats soaked in juice with dried fruits left overnight - wrong mix I know now but I think Il try oats and yoghurt but will have to have my soya yoghurt so 2 syns for that (oh for fat/sugar free soya yoghurts!)Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

:grouphug:Aww, for all you meanies.
I am sorry on behalf of all the moaners or questioners or weak willed among us. The thing I like about this thread is that you are welcome to come along and have a bit of a moan or feel free to ask silly questions or seek support when things go wrong. It is a friendly place and hopefully a safe spot for those who do not have the same level of support away from MSE. We never know the battles people are facing outside here and sometimes that extra little bit of care and compassion from a perfect stranger can help someone keep going or be encouraged to get back up and on the wagon. I appreciate you guys and am sorry if I have been annoying, hopefully my blip is over, I am planning on having a week of being 100% on plan, my food diary is ready in my handbag to fill in. In 10 days I go to the Democratic Republic of the Congo for 2 weeks to help out with a charity, I get the impression that when I am there I wont give two hoots about whether my muffin top shows in my trousers, hopefully will give me some perspective!
So, thanks again for the support, it is appreciated!:T:T:TGod is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day

Lunch will be JP and salad, beans and more fruit and yog, I think. failing that- ie if i cant get this, then theres a chinese cafe so will get a 5 syn meal from there- at least you know where you are with a chinese- a lot less syn ful than a bought sandwich
Dinner is beef stew with carrots, peas, potatoes, mushrooms, about 10 onionsand thickened with instant mash.
If I manage to survive the day with no syns Ill have 2 mini yorkies with this and i need to up the SF I think so might try adn buy some green beans or something to go with it, or I might roast off ( 1 syn oil) a couple of beetroots to up the SF. slow cooker is about to go on- feeling v organisedthis morning!
If anyone doesnt know this- MIDWEEK MINIS yorkshire puds Aunt bessie are 1 syn each. I fully expect them to taste like cardboard adn not like OHs HM yorkies made with strong bread flour and loads of oil  i got these in asda, bag of them for £1.
Best of luck with the weigh in tonight Dizzy! Out of interest will you have to shop for some smaller "sun clothes" or do you have enough for mexico? Some great bargains on ebay at the momentespecially summer stuff :j Im becoming increasingly jealous ( did I mention ) as the weather deteriorates here - lashing it down here in the capital again- still!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Seeing as I really had to force myself to eat my pasta n sauce yesterday I haven't made myself any lunch - could be a crap idea - I'll probably be starving today!
