  • Not at uni today so slobbing around the house. Do have loads of work to do though.

I think my horrible vending machine weekend has caught up with me:( Back to 10st this morning:(

Having a green day today - frozen quorn things are 3 for £5 or 3 for £4 for quorn burgers in Tesco at the moment.

Breakfast 21g All Bran (might syn this if i need to, depends what i have later in the day, or i will use it as 1/2 HeB), FF Activia peach (0.5) , banana, tea

Lunch - Maybe a quorn burger on WM roll?

Dinner scrambled eggs, SW chips and beans.

Well done to all the losers, hugs to those struggling:A

Oh and for anyone that has one nearby Home Bargains has the apple and sultana Alpen Lights for 99p. They aren't my favourite but I got some as they were cheaper. They also sell the pasta and sauce cheaply consistently if there aren't good offers on elsewhere, though Asda has them 3 for a £ which seems great to me! Any Mullers on a good offer anywhere? Not 4 for £2 though which is a joke of an offer to me, "woohoo, I saved 8p", me no likey :)

mr m yesterday had pasta in sauce buy 3 get 3 free.......I only just remembered this (I posted the fibre plus bars yesterday 2 for £3 I think???) gosh I hate this memory/brain fog thing!!

Hello all - blimey 24 hours and 8 pages later .... I can barely remember what anyone's said! Congrats to losers (6 lb in first week, brilliant!) and yes I get nervous on WI day too, not so bad since I reached my target as now I have a bit of leeway and my bowels seem to realise this ;)

I have to agree that Crisp £ Note has perhaps not really grasped the plan; honestly I would suggest going to a class for at least one night, get the books and the talk.

Christmas party next week eh? What's everyone taking? Or is it only our group having a taster session too? I thought I'd take a bowl of chicken liver pate and some Co-op wholemeal pittas cut up, sprinkled with aromat and slow baked until crisp to dip into it. I would over-estimate the syns at 1 per scoop :T and it's christmas party food SW style!

I definately agree with this.....especially where the HE's and syns are concerned.

Just one visit to a group to get the books and the talk would probably make it all fit into place.
  • I don't like Muller Lights either, (a) because they have gelatine in them:eek: and (b) because i don't think they taste very nice;) I'm currently eating Activia Fat Free yoghurts and they are yummy and gelatine free:D They are all free except the peach which are 1/2 a syn each so not too bad. I love the peach, cherry and vanilla ones. Not dead keen on strawberry but will eat if i have to.

brill, thankyou,I like activia yogs, didnt realise those were free, shall stock up on those Monday when I do weekley shop :)

Sorry where were the two boxes of fibre plus for £2? I really like them and it's better value than eating alpens or other cereal bars.

Weigh in today, and I'm going food shopping so I have no excuse to not stick to it. I'm finding the cost really difficult, and our freezer is only tiny so I can only keep a certain amount of leftovers!

    EDIT: i don't have a morrisons near me :(

  • I'm joining you lovely ladies in the wobbling club. I won't have lost any weight this week which means 2 weeks of only losing 0.5lb which really isn't good enough (even though I know it's not going ON) I don't think my heart has been in it and I have just been going through the motions of SW.

I need to take re-stock and give myself a kick up the bum.. I also have been having more bread..using BOTH B's (on greens) for bread then syning another protion so 6 slices of bread (400g ones) a day... and I know bread doesn't suit me.. so why am I doing it!?!!

I have been drinking lots of water kidding myself that it will all be ok because I have done that. I've not been eating much fruit either - using bread as my snacks instead of the good stuff.

Writing this down has actually helped me realise the error of my ways... so thanks for listening to my wibble.

    Today...
    B - 2 toast (B) mushrooms (F) butter (1)
L - Chunky veg soup - NO BREAD
    D - As lunch
    S - FRUIT & YOG

I am going to go cold turkey on the bread (I've already eaten b/fast) this week see what difference it makes - I am thinking a lot.

    My promises for this week.
    1 - Buy pudding rice for a freeish puds/breakfast
2 - No more bread for all week - will have ryvita instead (is this any better do you think?)
3 - bitesized amounts of exercise every day.

Thank you for listening, and to all the other waiverers...you are not alone xxx

Seriously Trixie, is that all you are eating? Soup twice a day doesn't seem like you are being very kind to yourself. Can you at least cook some pasta and throw it in for one of your meals or do yourself some potatoes? I feel as though you must be starving all day which is against the ethos of slimming world. Which plan are you following? If it is green then I think you need to add some carbs. If it is red then some protein and if extra easy I would probably put some ham or something in the soup, add some pasta at tea time and fill up that way!

Totally agree  I would be soooooooo hungry :o

A lot of the time when people arent losing our consultant asks them to do a food diary....it turns out theyre not eating enough - and if on EE not enough VARIETY from within the plan carbs/protein/veggies/fruit.

She always stresses that you have to eat quite a bit for it to work

I agree with the above comments - both trixie and crisp £ note seem to be eating very small amounts in a day.
Trixie your plan looks like the kind of thing i used to have when i did calorie counting (and i remember what a miserable time that was!)

Surely the whole idea of SW (at least what enticed me!) is that you can have unlimited amounts of free food!

And that's how it works, so you fill up on free food and dont starve - otherwise your body will hold on to all the fat as it's panicking about whether you're giving yourself enough fuel.

  • Well my slobbing about didn't last long, have just cleaned my kitchen and living room! Got a sudden burst of energy and thought i should use it productively. Also did some internet shopping - got some Disney Blu Rays for DDs xmas and some good quality cat food for my lovely kitten:p Was in Tesco this morning and they only stock crap catfood (whiskas, felix, own make etc) wish the supermarkets would stock decent stuff.

Can't decide what to have for lunch - might chuck a burger in the oven and have some soup with it. I still have a ton of lentil soup, good job its scrummy.

I agree with everyone else crispy £ note, you are definitely not eating enough hun, no wonder you feel unmotivated and want to jack it in. I would too if that was all i had:( Have a big hug and read through the thread and also check out minimins website and see what everyone else has, will give you a better idea of what you can have on SW. Feel free to come on here and have a moan, we all do it!
