Also did some internet shopping - got some Disney Blu Rays for DDs xmas and some good quality cat food for my lovely kitten:p Was in Tesco this morning and they only stock crap catfood (whiskas, felix, own make etc) wish the supermarkets would stock decent stuff.
Can't decide what to have for lunch - might chuck a burger in the oven and have some soup with it. I still have a ton of lentil soup, good job its scrummy.
I agree with everyone else crispy £ note, you are definitely not eating enough hun, no wonder you feel unmotivated and want to jack it in. I would too if that was all i had:( Have a big hug and read through the thread and also check out minimins website and see what everyone else has, will give you a better idea of what you can have on SW. Feel free to come on here and have a moan, we all do it!
bit off topic but out of interest what catfood did you get?
you can get decent ones in supermarkets but they tend to be pricey - hilife and feline fayre spring to mind.
i am lucky i have a pets at home near me and i get their purely food.
am going to have to put one of my cats on sw soon though - he is getting rather chubby!0 -
Please could anyone help? My friend is a coeliac and has just joined SW. She has 28g of Rice Crispies for breakfast and, because it's not listed in the Healthy Options, she thinks she has to have it as Syns which she would prefer not to. She doesn't want to wait till next week to ask the consultant. Any advice?
Also, are any other coeliacs doing SW who could give her some tips?
Many thanks.0 -
Sorry cant help with the coaliac question
But I am buying the weightwatchers yogs at the mo, which are 2 packs of 4 for £2 in iceland and asda atm. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

I won't have lost any weight this week which means 2 weeks of only losing 0.5lb which really isn't good enough (even though I know it's not going ON) I don't think my heart has been in it and I have just been going through the motions of SW.
I need to take re-stock and give myself a kick up the bum.. I also have been having more bread..using BOTH B's (on greens) for bread then syning another protion so 6 slices of bread (400g ones) a day... and I know bread doesn't suit me.. so why am I doing it!?!!
I have been drinking lots of water kidding myself that it will all be ok because I have done that. I've not been eating much fruit either - using bread as my snacks instead of the good stuff.
Writing this down has actually helped me realise the error of my ways... so thanks for listening to my wibble.
Today...
B - 2 toast (B) mushrooms (F) butter (1)
L - Chunky veg soup - NO BREAD
D - As lunch
S - FRUIT & YOG
I am going to go cold turkey on the bread (I've already eaten b/fast) this week see what difference it makes - I am thinking a lot.
My promises for this week.
1 - Buy pudding rice for a freeish puds/breakfast
2 - No more bread for all week - will have ryvita instead (is this any better do you think?)
3 - bitesized amounts of exercise every day.
Thank you for listening, and to all the other waiverers...you are not alone xxx
Trixie, I think avoiding bread is a good way forward. I tend to have it maximum once a week. I feel if I have some, I can feel my body demanding more and more. can just feel it. Anyone who has ever low carbed will know what I mean about THE DEMAND.
I just dont buy it now unless I want to have a burger in which case Ill buy a 6 pack of WM rolls and give the others to OH to take to work with him. Although these winter soups seem to suggest bread as well!
I usually have alpen lites, hi-fis, crisprolls instead. I think ryvita will definately be better. Trust me on that;) Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

Tesco don't seem to stock Feline Fayre or HiLife, that is what he has been getting up until now as i have been too skint to do an online order:o Got it from Morrisons while it was on offer. He was also on the P@H purely kitten dry food.
I just ordered Animonda Carny kitten and Orijen dry food for him. Hope he likes it!
My parents cat it HUGE, mostly he is just a big cat, vet has never said he is overweight despite being nearly 7kg. Have ordered a couple tins Animonda Carny adult food for him to see if they can wean him off Felix. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -

Sorry I think I have misled you. My soup has potatoes, white beans like baked beans but not them, soya beans and lentils in it along with tin tomatoes, carrots, peas, green beans and broccoli and some sprouts cut in quarters (all very odd I know I'm just using up the left over veggies. It is really thick - the spoon stands up in it :rotfl:so more like a stew but without the meat. Plus I don't limit myself to 1 bowl of it... I promise you I am not starving myself :rotfl::rotfl:which is part of my problem I think.
I have managed to ween myself off having bread with soup (which was hard to begin with) so if I can do that the next step is to get rid of the devils food altogether.
Looking back at my actual food intake I have been inadvertently mixing the plans incorrectly because of not sticking to my daily plan, then deciding to have meat for a meal so switching to EE from green and not upping my free food to account for it. I am bored with what I have been eating so start to veer off.
A very useful day SW wise and your help has been invaluable - Thank you xx
I think I need to get back to basics... as the weather has gone cold now I need to rethink my food as I am eating less salady things so it has thrown me plus I am getting stuck for ideas as to what to make and the lack of variety as you mentioned is hindering me.... amazing how such a simple thing as weather change can throw you off kilter."People buy things they don't need, with money they don't have, to impress people they don't like" - Clive Hamilton on Consumerism.0
