    You should aim for 5 - 15.

mummyof5 - if you only have a few lbs to lose you will find it harder than most. Have you provided us with your meals each day? We might be able to see something that can improve to get your weight loss going - are you drinking enough, eating plenty of speed foods, weighing HEx's rather than guesstimating - same with syns?
After 8 years of SW I'm finally starting to feel 'normal' around food - don't get me wrong I still have my moments, but these days I see what triggers them and I'm more aware of what I'm doing then.
Hugs - it does work - stick with it hun.

    thankyou for your reply.
i don't post my meals on here as i graze all day long and it is embarrassing (think i may have a while back and a few people said it was ok)
i drink loads of water , eat lots of speed foods and free foods too , weigh everything that needs to be weighed and i walk regularly too.

my problem is compulsive eating and eating even when i'm not hungry , so even though i'm eating the right foods , i'm probably still eating too much.

i just hate the constant battle in my head , i don't want to be on a diet but i need the discipline , and at the same time it is making me even more conscious of food too.

i'm sorry i'm just all muddled up and know that if i could tune into my appetite i'd drop the one dress size that is bugging me , but i just won't or can't let myself .

(skulks off to give oneself a good shake :))

Per Day - maximum of 15 syns & minimum of 5 syns, think most people aim for 10 that way if there are mistakes you have a bit of leeway.

mummyof5 - there's no such thing as eating too much! Honest!

If you'd seen how much I've eaten tonight you'd feel as sick as I do - I'm just gutted my tummy is so sore (full) I can't eat the roulade I made - ah well there's always tomorrow ;)

Bear with it and the 1.5lb gain will be a distant memory but if you don't have much it will come off slowly so please don't be disappointed. New week, new start - lets do it girl! :D
  • Um crisp £ note i've been looking at SW site for u

4 1/2 in the cholesterol drink, 10 in a 500g tin of grapefruit in juice, Spam lite 6 per 100g, linda mc Sasuages are 2 syns each, salad cream 1, cheesy mash is 15 per 500g pack:eek:, tescos veg gravy 2 1/2 per 142ml.

the rest was all free i think? no healthy extras?

Been there done it myself its so annoying. The basic guidelines for EE should be on the first page. it might be worth having a look at the SW website at the sample menu the plan is explained on there.

Thats just one day, if you are going over every day it all mounts up and could be why you're having problems. Keep posting and we'll keep you on the straight and narrow :D good luck
