Thanks Lynz, there are toms, onions, garlic, kidney beans in the chilli. Only bad thing is a little olive oil, but it will be minimal. Was also made with lean steak mince.

  • hi everyone , ok if i come and have a moan ?
i am fed up with this dieting lark , i have gained 1.5 this week on plan totally , which means in 9 weeks i have lost a measly 5lb.
i tried doing EE instead of green as i thought i was scoffing too many cereal bars.

i just want to be normal around food , eat when hungry and don't when not.
i've never been this and it's all i want is it too much to ask ???
i don't need to lose more than a few lbs , i just was so desperate to sort out my unhealthy lifestyle and i thought this would be the answer, but now i want to rebel against it and myself AAAAARRRRGGGGHHHHHH.

really sorry feeling very woe is me today i just don't want to be this food addict anymore :(

mummyof5 - if you only have a few lbs to lose you will find it harder than most. Have you provided us with your meals each day? We might be able to see something that can improve to get your weight loss going - are you drinking enough, eating plenty of speed foods, weighing HEx's rather than guesstimating - same with syns?
After 8 years of SW I'm finally starting to feel 'normal' around food - don't get me wrong I still have my moments, but these days I see what triggers them and I'm more aware of what I'm doing then.
Hugs - it does work - stick with it hun.

How may syns ahve you calculated that as crisp £ note.

I wonder whether you might be underestimating there?

 Urmmmmm :undecided :shhh:  :huh: ~ I have no idea sorry :o:(

Don't forget kidney beans aren't superfree (worse luck as I love them!) ;)

Today I have had a Tesco Strawberry cholesterol lowering drink (4) and a tin of grapefruit in own juice (Tesco) (HEb or 6 syns?) for breakfast, Salad and a thin slice of Spam light (don't know syns?) with a tablespoon of saladcream (Light Choices) (2?) for lunch, 2 Linda McCartney veggie sausages (2 each?), half a white (organic) cabbage (boiled, no added salt), some mixed veg (Birdseye Country mix) (boiled, no added salt) a tablespoon of Tesco cheddar mash (3syns???) and some veg gravy (made with granules? 2) for dinner. A cup of tea with Skimmed Milk (no sugar), a big glass of water and a big glass of sugar free squash (Tesco berries and cherries).

    Thanks for the support.

Guesstimating - someone might be able to help us further but there's 18ish syns there already.

Just had a quick look and have pulled up some of your things to give you an idea...
    • strawberry drink 4.5syns
    • grapefruit -2syns per 100g -so depends on size of tin..
    • 28g spam lighter - 1.5
    • 2 sausages -4 syns
    • salad cream 1 syn
    • cheesy mash -15syns per 500g -so say 2
so there you have 15 syns depending on size of tin of grapefruit -plus the other bits I haven't checked.... its amazing where they hide..hope it helps ;)
    -6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.5
