Thanks:) I did wonder about that and was going to ask at club this week as only been on the plan less than 2 weeks. I dont drink tea/coffee so only have milk on cereal. At the weekend I had cooked breakfasts but did have soya yoghurt each day as I dont like drinking milk on its own. Maybe Il make a small rice pud on a Sunday with my Sunday milk allowance.Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

That's a great post Consultant31!:) I wish you had been my Consultant when I went to SW. There used to be a few negative people at our group who would come out with things like that and she'd allow them to almost take over the group!
It IS possible to have a social life and lose weight. I lost weight both summer hols at SW. We stay in quality hotels abroad where the food is out of this world. I so look forward to all the choice there is and the way it's all presented so beautifully.
If I wanted to put on half a stone in a week I'd head for the desserts, profiteroles, meat in creamy sauces, crusty breads etc. That would be seriously depressing though and it's also very negative to go back and admit to your group you've gained weight and then rub it in about how fantastic the puddings were and how it was all worth it (with your fingers tightly crossed behind your back.)
I still ate really well - at the end of the day we ALL know what we should avoid don't we?0 -

theres nothing coming up for them. do you have the nutritional info for the yog including the pot size and I can put it thru the syn calculator.
is there a Brand manufacturer who makes the lambrusco?
Thank you Dizzy.
The Lidl Yoghourt is Eridanous Greek Yoghourt (10% fat) Which comes in a BIG 100g container.
Per 100g. 126 cals. Protein 5.0g, Carbs 2.8g and Fat 10,5g
The Lambrusco also comes from Lidl! I'm sure you won't find the exact brand listed but it's Daunia Rosso 4% volume.0 -
Reading about the Dynorod soup interested me as I make loads of soups in winter.
Yesterday I took a containerful out of the freezer which I made months ago and it was delicious. That was sweet potato, onions, mixed beans, tinned tomatoes, S & P, garlic, veg stock, red pepper and a dash of curry powder. (I always write on the labels!;))
Another one I love is swede and coconut. Swede, veg stock, onion etc and just a teaspoon of dessicated coconut. It is divine!
Curried parsnip is another which really hits the spot & makes you feel you're not trying to lose weight.0 -
Just had a portion of my soya rice pud and it was really nice - had some blueberries and raspberries on it. Found it too sweet so will use less splenda next time. Im pleased with how nice it was - not found too many puds (apart from fruit and soya yoghurt) I can have yet being vegan and this will work well as a syn free treat sometimes.
Might work well in the slow cooker too.Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.

Swede and coconut?! That's an interesting combo! I may try it though, one day. Is it just swede, onions, stock and coconut?

The rice pudding was a great success last night, good to have a proper pudding. The recipe called for a huge amount of sweetener though. Still feel a little uncomfortable about using sweeteners. I have been reading about Stevia, but it seems to be banned in the EU? Has anyone found it/tried it?

the lancashire hotpot was yum! only niggle was that it was too liquid, I prefer a thicker sauce so next time Il coat everything in a couple tsp flour before putting in the oven
Dont know if anyone has said this ( still catching uP!) but I thicken casserole with instant mash potato/ smash style SYN FREEsave your flour syns for something else! :j:j
I usually tip about half a mugful into a slow cooker with 4 portions and then see how it goes.:j
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
