Well I am gutted. Especialy as I haven't really changed anything significantly or scoffed anything I shouldnt, no chocolates or naughty munchies, everything no or low fat, salad, fruit and veg, exercised, stayed positive and motivated.
Been eating Fruit and cholesterol lowering drink for breakfasts, salad for lunch, then low fat meals for dinner with lots of veg, fruit n fromage frais as a snack, lots of water and a little exercise.
Its really becoming a big issue problem for me now as I have had this trouble for past few years. I get to 11st 2lb and then it goes up not down. Its not psychological as I have really tried hard even more so this time. Went to the doctors 3 months ago, who told me to try WW (but I opted for SW), been back to same dr 3 times and weighed in over 3 months and lost, lost then STS when I was offered the 'diet pill' which I said no to (cos I dont see the point in them to be honest a lot of bowel troublefor 1lb extra loss not worth it (then what happens when you come off them?) ).
What the dr has not seen since seeing her about 6 weeks ago is the massive weight gain from 11st 2 to 12 stone then the losses back down to 11st 2. So if I go back to see dr this week all she will see is a gain of 3lb and probably think I have not been trying hard enough.
I am soand at the edge of giving up all the hard work as I have failed to break through the wall again and get into the 10 st band. I will try so so hard this week again for all it is worth.
So fed up.
Sorry to moan. Have a good week everybody. Thanks.
Have you got a lot more to lose? If not then maybe you should call target.

Hello everyone.
My weekend wasn't great I didn't slip too much from plan... except I decided to have a flexi on Sat and deducted 10 token syns from my weekly total. This is mainly because I maid enchilladas and didn't use MrsM's homemade recipe for the flatbread and then had angel delight too... so not a massive amount of food just calorific... oh and rich tea biscuits - about a bucketful, I lost count so went flexi.
Today.. back on the wagon. (26.5 of wkly syn total left)
GREEN
B - 2 toast (B) Butter (1.5) marmite (F)
L - Veggie Lasagne (3)
D - Jacket pot (F) Salad (F) garlic quark (F) butter (1.5)
Snx - fruit & yog (1) couscous salad (F) H/m choc options drink (1)

Afternoon all,
I need a really big kick up the bum to get me into gear again. Totally ruined the weekend! I knew i was going out on Friday but for some reason 'forgot' to swap my chips for a jacket and had a massive dessert!
Was supposed to go out for drinks (lots of) on Saturday but it got cancelled so stayed in and kept in my syn allowance but then had to pick up my brother from McDonalds and 'accidently' ate a McFlurry!
Then we were going to go for a roast dinner at a trucker stop but in the end went to a hungry horse and again didn't swap my chips for a jacket and had one of the biggest deserts on the menu.
I am sure i have put on despite being good last week (sneaky look at scales on thurs showed a 5lb loss!) i reckon i have put on tonight!
I really need to get back into the swing of things!
I really want to loose 2st 3lbs by Christmas to get my 6 st award - it is looking less and less likely but i am sure if i put my mind to it i can achieve it!
Plan for this week
- more exercise
- vary days e.g. mixture of green and extra easy
- eat as many speed foods as possible
- eat as much super free foods as possible
Might give the dynorod soup a go! Anyone remember what page/post number it was?
Good luck to all those still to WI x0 -
Here you go nessie
consultant31s recipe...
1 can mixed bean salad (Tesco's but I expect other stores do similar)
2 cans chopped tomatoes
1 can baked beans
1 can green lentils (couldn't find these so used a big handful of dried)
1 big handful red lentils
2 large leeks
1 large onion
4 carrots
2 parsnips
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper
1 green pepper
2 Vegetable stock cubes (not necessary IMO)
Salt & Pepper
Teaspoon mixed herbs
Water to cover ingredients
Chop all veg. Put everything into a huge pan (needs to hold aound 6 pints). Cover with water, bring to the boil, lower the heat and simmer for 30 mins or until veg are soft.
Once cooked you can blend smooth or leave chunky.
Freezes well. Tastes good and is excellent if you're a bit constipated-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
My OH is now in stitches cos I've told him there's a 'dynorod' soup :P After being confined to a car for 5 hours with him and the after effects of baked beans for his breakfast yesterday - I don't think I'll be rushing to make him this even though it does sound yum!:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin0

I get the impression from looking at that recipe that it should be possible to make it with any vegetables and pulses. I can't imagine it will matter if you used fresh tomatoes not tinned or 2 green peppers and no yellow one. I think I may try to make a smaller volume with the veg I have at home!God is good, all the time

I "tweaked" mine too -to use what I had and god it was good.. I even wrote it down and Im going to try and do it exactly the same this time... even though hubby has all but begged me NOT to have anymore *can't imagine what he means* :rotfl:but Im making it again as its really tasty and I left mine in big lumps and didn't even add any water so it was really "stick to your ribs"

Thanks MrsM
I managed to find it using the search thread bit - i think i will need to reduce the quantities as i don't have a pan big enough! :rotfl:
I have looked on bbc good food website and found a nice looking soup - Red lentil, chickpea and chilli soup - also a nice broccoli & stilton soup - which i made pre-sw but i could still do it now, but use frylight instead of oil and measure out the stilton as hea's - sure i could put in some cannelini beans to speed it up on a green day!
I could also do the pickled onion soup - cheap & lasts pretty much all week!
Now all i need to do is find the time to make all these gorgeous recipes!
Thanks again x0
