    Hello everyone,
Flutterbyuk25 - sorry your date didn't turn out so well - plenty more fish in the sea (FREE on Red!!)

Welcome all newbies. Franby64 - targets that you have set sound very do-able, good luck.

I agree with comments about magazine- does anyone think that maybe SW are trying to get everyone to switch to EE? - just a thought.

Well done Vixie Pixie - it's great to go down a size and as you say smaller clothes are cheaper and there's more choice. Keep up the good work.
  • Morning everybody

Got through yesterday with 12 syns but I did have a little bowl of noodles in the evening which I shouldn't have done because I didn't really need it! On the other hand I know that if I feel munchie (not hungry :o) it's usually better to eat something free then I can stop thinking about food.

Today is green (I suspect as well that SW would like us all to do EE. EE is OK but green is better and I never liked red days - at least there's lots of choice about how you plan your day!).

    Hea - sk milk.
    B: Eggs on toast - 2x heb, tsp oil (2), 2 tsp marg (4).
L: Pasta and HM tom sauce (2) and dsp parmesan (1).
T: Quorn hotpot (2) and yesterday's potatoes reheated in some non-fattening way perhaps layered with onions (syns to fry) and a bit of stock and baked? With cheese on top? (hea).

Thank you for the welcomes and hope everybody has a good day.
August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.

i posted a few days ago to say how great the mushy pea curry is
my 2 daughters have tried it,they are 6 and 8 and absolutely loved it
only one of them likes beans and peas , the other doesn't like any of the ingredients but they both scoffed it down - on my mash potato which neither of them will eat :D

Thanks, I might have to go back and find the recipe...I am really unsure as I hate mushy peas, BUT maybe it is worth a try at least?

MY NEWS - WI this morning and lost 2.5lb:j...I am chuffed to bits and it has really given me a boost. I am going to stick to a mixture of red/gree/ee again this week and hope for another great loss next week:D

Right, need to make bottles, dress two LO's and send two big'uns up to put uniforms on....then it's off to do the food shopping after the school run:)

    xx

    Well done Skint Catt!

Date went well, but not sure I like him enough! We stopped for coffee so it was SW friendly. I was starved on my way back, luckily I had a banana in the car. Just had quick lunch of pasta and HM SF tomato sauce.

come on now flutter, tell us the story or are you going to make a poor tired girl scroll through the previous posts!! ;)

What do people have for brekkie on ee without using your heb (other than bacon, egg, mushrooms & toms)?

    hey Catt

I did my first week of EE last week and am pleased to report my weigh in this morning showed I've lost 2 POUNDS!:j I am very pleased with this and will stick with EE this week.

I'm doing it at home because I am committed to a college course until November and won't be able to go to a group. But I may go to a different group in Nov. We'll see!

The week has been good and I've been doing several recipes from the SW mag - salmon burgers were great, so was Chicken Jambalaya and last night I did a wonderful Chili Con Carne and jacket potatoes. I have also done loads of homemade soups and these have been really tasty and hearty now the weather is cooler. :)

I'd still love to know how many syns are in Red Lambrusco (4%) and Lidl Greek Yoghurt please?

  • Hi all, I'm going to rejoin you if thats ok? I haven't been on for a while as we've been moving house. Starting afresh as of today. It's weird but I didn't realise how unhappy the old house was making me, which in turn made me eat. This house is sooo much nicer and makes me want to look good to go with my new house. Hmmm reading it back that sounds really odd :o:o

Today I'm having an EE day:

Breakfast- x2 wholemeal bread (HEB) x3 laughing cow light (part of HEA)
Lunch- Jacket potato, X2 laughing cow light (other part of HEA), salad
Dinner- Homemade meatballs, pasta, tinned toms, mushroom, onion, carrots
Snacks- Fruit, coffee with dribble of milk (3?)

My weight as of this morning is 12st 8lb
