Have been flexing today as went to Las Iguanas today on the lunch deal, felt terrible after it and went to bed for 2 hours! Just got uop, I dont think ill bother with dinner tonight maybe just have some fruit & yog. ( get back into it)

Tomorrow is EE and will be home-based so feeling confident it will all work out ok ;)

    Breakfast: fruit and yoghurt
Breakfast 2 egg musghrooms and beans
Lunch: might make leek and potato soup or french onion soup and have with HEB brown roll or Ill have pasta & sauce with added veggies with 2 pagen crisprolls HEB
Dinner- steak, SW chips, mushrooms onions and "roast" veg, beetroot, parsnips and whatever else is lurking at the bottom of the fridge!

Looking forward to it, I feel so tired after that wrap today ( i had burrito and only had half!) I used to eat wraps 4+ times a week, no wonder I was knackered.

Congrats losers, Vixie thats brilliant, not long till size 16 now :j
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

    Thanks inazuma.

My meds are ok, still feel tired all the time but if I take stronger meds I start shaking! It's good to hear a success story for somebody with an underactive thyroid. My doctor is constantly saying how much harder it will be for me to lose weight - great motivator!

Can anybody tell me whether weetabix (original biscuits) can be used as a HE (im doing EE)? I can't see it in my book and online it says 2 biscuits 6 1/2 syns!
Have you had a look at the British Thyroid Foundation website? They are really good for info. Hope you find sw helps - let us know how you get on!

Oh wow, fantastic loss....I knew you could do it.

BTW in case you are interested, my previous name was a 'coloured mel' Please don't say it out loud, as I have had to re-register to hide;)

I weigh-in tom morn and doubt I have lost this week with my chocolate binge due to stupid flaming periods that are allowing me a measly 9 days off in between each one:( Fingers crossed though....I have also decided to save my mars duo until tomorrow, no point scoffing that the day before weigh in.

    xx

Been for a couple of short walks this weekend.

Made the Dyno Rod soup this weekend  there was so much ingredients I had to split it between 2 cook pots! Have wizzed up half in the liquidizer ready for sauce bases (Spag bol, cottage pie etc) and left the other half chunky for soups. Have put into recycled fromage frais tubs and 'pour n store' bags and popped them all in the freezer. That lot should last me a week or 2.

Had to re-organise the freezer whilst I was at it and bonus I found some pureed apple and pear and some cranberries and blueberries I had done earlier this year! Yummmm.

Had a taste while it was cooling down and it was delicious, reminded me of Oxtail or Minestrone soup (even though theres no meat in it) decided to make another lot soon, leave it chunky and turn it into a stew or cassorole. :p mmmmm

Well WI week 4 tomorrow, NOT looking foward to it :(.

Hope everybody has a good week, stay positive and focussed everyone! You can do it !!

    Thanks :)

Have seen Dyno rod soup mentioned a few times - must of missed a vital part - what is it?

Am always after good soup recipes - this one sounds interesting:rotfl:

  • i posted a few days ago to say how great the mushy pea curry is
my 2 daughters have tried it,they are 6 and 8 and absolutely loved it
only one of them likes beans and peas , the other doesn't like any of the ingredients but they both scoffed it down - on my mash potato which neither of them will eat :D
